I have the same problems so i downloaded the ps4 version. Managed about 20 minutes, visited cain and yep awaiting confirmation and it crashed now I’ve lost all my characters again. Just the same problem I was having before the patch on ps5.
How can they actually charge money for something so broken… it’s still for sale on ps store, surely there must be some kind of law against selling crap.

The Play button doesn’t do anything after updating my PS5 D2R to the latest version. I have a link to a video, but it looks like I can’t add that here.

Same here, I’m in Poland, also after installing newes game update I’m unable to play online. It’s fine when I choose offline character, but cannot join or create online game.

My game acts in the very same manner xD It’s quite ironic that these 2 last patches seemed to break my game more rather than do any improvements to the code 
After 1.03 the game had been crashing a lot, like 3 or 4 times a day, and now I cannot play at all:joy:
I was wondering if it was just me. Same here in UK conected to EU server, can see my online character but can’t actually play with them, PS5 updated game 2hr ago. I can see a rollback on the cards.
Is Lizzard actually doing any quality control and testing before pushing patches?
It’s a bit of a poor show when the Original D2+LOD works much faster and is 100 times more stable online than this Resurrected version.

there is a workaround, you can download ps4 version of the game and it works, but looks terrible

Every update makes the game worse and major components of the game have been changed from the beginning alienating long time fans of the series.

a lot of people have the same issue unfortunately… try downloading ps4 version of the game and it will work until they fix the ps5 version

I’ve updated the game and SURPRISE! We can play on a Ps5.
The game does nothig… we presh PLAY button and nothing happens… we have a beautiful wallpaper now
