let me know if you also noticed this in the past months. I just don’t sell my stuff any more, noone is interested. And it’s stuff that I sold before very fast
it’s sad to see that the game is less and less populated and is slowly dying
This is what happens when bots are left unchecked. The banwaves they do every ~6 months do nothing, because the botters already have plenty of backup accounts, and Blizzard always seems to heavily discount the game right after a banwave.
I play SSF, because the trading game has become a joke due to mass botting.
Yeah the economy is pretty ugly… You gotta know how to play it…
Jah runes will grow in relative value while bers drop in value.
Shakos and Tals armor crash in value, while perfect amethysts, hels, and all other bulk runes/gems go up in value… relatively.
There is one currency that always retains value while everything else shrinks in value…
Actually theres 2…
Forum gold and real $$$
For me, I like to play in order to find items to sell… but now that that’s done I am interested in grinding a fun character up the ladder… but prices still haven’t come down enough for me to buy the gear for it. (my first season jsp)
I can’t blame this all on bots, I think an even greater problem are the idiots making “ARREATS4JAH” games. *#&$ use a *#&$ forum for trade, or go to the trade channel, offer, then make private game to trade.
Problem is you login and the games listed are all these stupid trade offerings. This is detrimental to people that just want to join a game to actually play the game. This is in regards to just playing on Bnet looking for groups. I know we can always just create our own private game, and many if not most do that already. Point is to create an environment opens up opportunity for those that just want to get in and play a game with others.
Well if Blizzard would have made a proper in game trading platform, that wouldn’t be as big of a problem. Buuuut they didn’t, because they figured most of us are using 3rd party trading sites anyway. Why spend the time and resources creating something when someone else is already doing it for free? (from Blizzards perspective)
DEAD and these purists like this Jedi guy constantly blocking/trolling every fix suggestion to this awesome game.
How this game can still live if is still unfixed and broken AF in many aspects.
Hah, you think what I say here has any bearing on what Blizzard does? That’s cute.
It’s all your fault! You ruined Diablo!
Mosaic should be a big enough of a clue on how out of touch Blizzard was with the game, and the possibilities of what they may have done had they kept updating the game. Some of these people want change just for the sake of change, not caring if or how much it will ruin the game. (or at least not caring enough about it until they get enough of their “change” fix.)
yeeeeep and its not funny thing!
ppl like him, vocal minority of purists cried to not fix the game due to their magical “nostalgia” factor… then we got what we got… broken unfixed DEAD game xD
Enjoy
Sh1tsaic is EZ to fix, they made BIG mistake with popular streamer suggestion, but I think they know it now.
There is PTR for the reason
Hey, guess what? This game was something to tide the majority over until Diablo 4 was released. (And draw the old retired from Diablo 2 gamers back in to boost D4 sales) Did you notice how they pretty much stopped any further development for D2:R once D4 was released?
So yeah, it was a nostalgia hit. Move along, move along.
Ladder? Non Ladder? Because since season 6 I only play Non Lad, and it´s very alive. I don´t have incentive for play ladder, a rise to 99? 6 months with the same character?
This is the crux of the issue. D2jsp is the de facto trading platform because alongside actually existing, it’s easy to use and coordinate trades. Their currency system completely undermines the game, but the ability to actually facilitate trades across the entire server is a basic feature that D2R should have had at launch.
At some point, everyone on D2R just needs to accept that Blizzard does not care. They flat out do not care about creating a quality product, be a new IP, a new entry in an existing IP, or even a remaster of an older title. You can find all three of these assertions evidenced in their current games catalogue. The whole company is cooked. It’s dead. I feel for anyone younger than 30 that never got to experience peak Blizzard, because what’s left of it is a disappointing swamp of slop.
you see, TDJ and I often disagree on topics. But we’re 100% in agreement here. Mosaic proves to me that I rather keep the game as it is right now than let them add new stuff.
Up until 2.6, in my personal opinion, the game got better. If not for Mosaic (and wasd), I would support the notion of continued patches (while knowing that it very likely wouldn’t happen). But not this way, thankyouverymuch.
The whole story is funny. People who didn’t want the game to change too much, already don’t like the way most of the changes were implemented and say the changes killed the game.
All while the people permanently crying for change are blaming the “lack” of changes for killing the game.
In my opinion none of the changes have been “good enough”.
Sunder charms → completely missed its purpose.
Tc85 changes → fully negated by tz
Terror zones → completely dropped the ball. Instead of giving people more diverse playing options and reasons to log in, the random imbalanced zones gave us reason not to log in most of the time. Gave us the feeling to waste time with crap zones and that all the good zones are only up when we can’t play. It split the community even more and made fast teleport even more important for all participants.
PvP fhr changes → killed off 70% of pvp players
Mosaic → worst addition.
Nova → overbuffed with cure and massive dmg boost with only 1 synergy and full ES possibilities
Whirlwind → killed 2hand weapon Barb and was bad overall
The list goes on, but like I said right from the beginning… no change is better than bad changes…
Are you proposing a needed revision to finding games?
Yes a trade only button would be nice vs actual games to play. Would be nice.
I actually like TZ overall. It incentivizes me yo go to areas I otherwise wouldnt bother with at all.
I just kill everything., Packs have a so so rate for me in terms of good drops and random white mobs and stashes and such surprise me as often as pack drops.
I have yet to make a WW barb but I often hear that melee is dead…one day Ill get motivated enough to punish my way to confirmation.
THIS . This is exactly why everyone uses 3rd party trade sites and the major reason the lobby is flooded with trade games by people who doesnt use 3rd party sites. Every legit player would stop using these sites if there was an official alternative PoE already did that with success, even though some people might still use jsp and rmt in PoE the problem is reduced to a point where it doesnt affect the economy or the player experience. Noone i know (and i do know alot of poe players) uses jsp or any other 3rd party trade sites in PoE they all use the official because its better and ez to use + u can list items directly from ur stash without even leaving game, it will automatically be listed on trade site and when someone whisper they want to buy ur item all u have to do is right click and invite to party, do the trade and keep playing. No new game creation needed, you can continue game right where u were and once u leave party or kick the guy he cant enter ur content.
You simply cant make a trade game without having a trade site and not expect people to come up with their own solution, and by not having an official site u create the perfect foundation for mass botting and rmt, especially when u dont even ban people for botting or using 3rd party sites.
It’s the authentic Diablo experience…
I am using JSP for the first time this season… funny enough, I’ve amassed enough FG to buy 15 ber runes… but I only bought a single Lo rune this whole season… I basically traded all these items that I found away… made them go poof… for currency I want to save to tap into next season
Found the JSP user!!! Cheater cheater pumpkin eater!!! Oh, yeah, that’s right, a lot of people use JSP and do the same thing, and Blizzard can’t do diddly squat about it. But whatever, cheat yourself out of the true “rags to riches” experience.
I seriously doubt that. The benefit of carrying over purchasing power that JSP offers and it being invisible to Blizzard is too good to let go of. Greed doesn’t care how it obtains what it wants, it only cares about there being a way.
