I have yet to see a single public baal bot running.
Infact I have yet to see a single public bot available on the websites that would have them.
Diablo 2 legacy… was more botted than this game.
The only sad thing about this game is the 0 effort that goes into removing the chat spamming bots… thats kinda sad…

Correct that most bots are not public, but there are some.
D2 Legacy as in the original game was botted more than D2R? Nah. I’m not even sure LOD was, but they’re more efficient now, far superior.

This game is not infested with bots when a Shako costs an ist… it is infested with morons though.
in legacy d2 i would give Shakos away because yes I did bot that game like numerous other people … and the economy showed it.
This new econ… yes there are bots… they are all private ones… which is maybe why some people are angry? I dno.
botty pixelbot. It is both free & open source and it isn’t the only one.
Its ez to blame d2jsp but the real reason sites like this has such huge success in D2 is actually blizzards own fault so in fact they are to blame. First of all u cant make a trade game and not have an ez to use official trade site especially when ingame trading is very tedious in D2 and it got even worse with the changes to lobby. Secondly they do very little to get rid of the bot problem, in fact im not even sure they want to solve this issue since they make money from only having a few occasional ban waves when people buy new copies for their bots.
Now u might think im wrong but Path of Exile already proved this works. They have very little issues with bots and 3rd party RMT tradesites at least not some u would notice. What they did was make an excellent official trade site with ingame currency only (no rmt) and u can list ur items directly from stash by simply right click and set price without even leaving ur game. These items are automatically listed on the official trade site directly from ur stash which also makes using 3rd party websites more tedious to use than the official site and eliminates most of the competition. Besides this they actually ban botters, had a guy on my friend list once that thought botting in poe was a good idea but it took less than 24 hours and his acc was banned.
Fact is Blizzard is to blame for not solving these issues and most people only use other websites because ingame trading is almost impossible in d2 and this actually benefits the botters even more. Edit… Almost forgot, u can also whisper people directly from the official trade site in PoE and see if they are actually online. They automatically get the whisper ingame and can invite u to their game and trade u the item without even leaving their current game
