A post whining about “whiners”. :upside_down_face:

P.S. You may think the drop rates are perfect but some want them increased while others want them decreased. The bias appears to be for more rather than less drops .

So it seems they are perfect

No. The ideal drop rate is a matter of personal perception. Moreover, there are far more people who favor changing them in one direction than the other.

i was only wondering, if any people would join another useless discusion …

For bots and RMT and addicts yes. No sane person would cheer for zero reward…

I agree … i always had reward loot for playing - everyday something valuable - pul, mal, ist, keys, some niche uniques …

Then I hope that your boss pays you after each minute of work. Seems like you need everything in an instant.

idk … drop rate is perfect as it is, because of this we played this game. Its good to have anything i want as instant? i dont think so … if i would get enigmas griefs botd after 2 weeks of playing, i would not come back to play. Glory of game would not be where it is now …

Would you work for a company that randomly paid people?
You one hundred workers get no right to complain about your less-than-minimum-wage pay rate because your co-worker Mr. Jones got paid a million bucks yesterday. Current pay rates are fine.

It is silly to compare this game to the real world.

LMAO WOW. What a horrible analogy. You are comparing someone getting paid in real life to a video games rng loot? LMAO.

You do realize how stupid your analogy is right? Because people would sue that company for not getting paid.

You don’t like the loot drops. Don’t play then. Go play D3 where loot rains from the sky and you can just sit there while someone clears greater rifts for you.

Oh yes comparing work time with leisure time, yes we should absolutely set the same standards for those…

Yes, that is why I wrote what I wrote… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

as per usual you are arguing things that everyone knows. no kidding, different people have different preferences? im sure some people want to be able to buy a rush to 99 too, just because someone wants something doesnt matter. “why” should drop rates be upped? because someone wants to isnt a reason. (hint: they shouldnt be)

If blizz lowered them from d2Lod I could see an argument but everyone knew what they were getting

Yes, it’s as silly as wanting to be REWARDED for every click you do in a game.

You are absolutely right. Because leisure time is something you decide how to spend it and if it’s not fun for you, then you are doing it wrong. The game doesn’t need to reward you for every fart you make.

Blizzard has made it clear that D2R is a live service game where they are changing things. Just look at the upcoming patch and ladder changes that were announced pre-release. For example, the old ladder runewords were immediately available with D2R launch with its fresh economy.

and you did it again. you state things thinking you are making a counter point when just stating things that EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS. this isnt a counter argument. there needs to be a WHY to the argument drop rates should go up because ___ (and i want all the lootz aint it). They are changing other things isnt an argument for it either.

Drops are fine, also i felt that they were increased in comparison to LOD 1.13/1.14

More drops = Faster gear = No Challenge = Faster quitting = dead game

I have stated reasons why drop rates could change by a smidgen in other threads. My posts in this thread is to make a counterargument to the OP who was whining about “whiners”.

If everyone already knows that the perfect drop rate is a matter of personal preference, why would someone create a thread trying to silence those who share their preference and often their rationale? I think you confirm that this thread was unnecessary.

This game was never challenging on softcore. It is a time sink.

Time played=/= challenge

Do you need awesome manual dexterity? Do you need some secret strategy that you developed yourself versus simply going to an internet guide?
