Stop Changing This Masterpiece

You use hyperbole as a diffusing point when you literally use “live service” to override every counter argument utilizing:

You shouldn’t use an argumentative strategy that simultaneously cuts your own legs out from underneath you. Try again.

If I need to spell it out:

Your use of hyperbole is amusing because you use “live service” in that same fashion to counterpoint any argument utilizing Blizzards own store page verbatim.

This is all you get because I’m editing cover letters.

First, I never said it was hyperbole in that context. I said that Blizzard stated pre-launch that changes were possible and that Blizzard said iD2R is a live service game. These are facts, not hyperbole.

An example of hyperbole is the claim that D2R has no resemblance to D2/D2:Lod.

Honestly, this debate has gone back and fourth so many times it’s tiring. It’s the same argument over and over again, and I even have to hold myself accountable here because I’ve partaken in it too many times.

For me, personally, I respect your opinion. Why? Because you actually advocate for the same thing we do; a separate realm for purists and people who like change. You’re not uncompromising, and I think despite your disposition on changes, you empathize with us, purists.

The point of this is, we all shouldn’t be arguing this tired point anymore. It isn’t constructive, and it honestly derails what we actually all seem to agree on. I use “we” here because I am very much including myself; I am responsible as well for these arguments.

Also, I realize I’m replying to your post, but I’m not actually attacking you, as I only did to highlight that you’re actually agreeable on wanting the same thing we do, so please don’t feel like I’m attacking you.

Love your humility.

Heres mine: The game has always been good and is now dogcrap.

The thing is bud, I’ve never had trouble GETTING endgame gear. I have a tremendous about of free play time.

Also I’m primarily a NL player. I don’t want an eternity of dealing with these crappy changes, and BS charms. Why I just started messing around in single player on a patch locked version. Zero interest in continuing to play on bnet with these changes.

just go to d2lod, the game will be there for u

Just go to Diablo 3, I hear it needs a player base.

No such thing as a patch locked version of D2R unfortunately, 30 day DRM eventually forces you to update unless if you use illegal workarounds.

Or do you just mean you’ll ignore the changes in single player?

No comment, but I think you get it. Not like I don’t own it lol.

Fair enough, I wish there was an official way to downpatch or stop updates in D2R, DRM sucks man.

That’s how it is with modern gaming though, you don’t own anything you buy digitally. I suppose you didn’t when it was on a disk either but they couldn’t actually take that away from you, not realistically anyways. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d instantly roll it back to pre 2.3 before all the stupid changes started. But sadly, not an option.

I remember you, you were talking about how bad Blizzard is doing and why they should not change this game (even though 2.5 is literally the greatest patch in D2’s entire history). Anyways just wanted to share this:

Blizzard still got it and got it HARD. :fire: :fire: :fire:

Moral of story: More changes and more often please, Blizzard!
Start with better drop rates and /player x command.

Dude it’s a free to play game. That isn’t even a game. It’s just a patch on top of an already existing game. I know 7 people that played it including myself. For about 5 minutes before we realized it was just the same crap lol.

Also you act like anything Blizzard says is actually truth. They constantly lie. It could have been 25M, it could very well have also been 2M.

Lemme know how those new runewords are working on NL.

You’ve pick a really crap company to simp for. You’re fun to laugh at though.

Oh yes, more copium and denial. Thinking 25 million is dismissible because “F2P”.

And oh yes, they are totally lying dude. Reality hits hard, get with the times. More great changes to D2R now by a more successful Blizzard than BlizzNorth.

Just open your mind and eyes and enjoy the best D2 version that has ever been: D2R 2.5 and embrace more changes. Or go back to D2: LoD the interior version and stay stuck in time, up to you really.

Let’s wait and see how many billions OW2 is going to make for Blizzard. Let’s wait and see financial reports for next two years.

I…
Reading this post fried a few of my braincells, I’m sure of it.

Doubt that. For that to happen u first would need to have some.
