I still think it’d be neat if the SoH acted as a charm, which increases the difficulty of the game. I originally posted this idea here.
“The monsters of sanctuary are enraged from the sight of the Standard of Heroes that you carry. Their strength, numbers and damage have been increased.”
If in the inventory, it will boost monsters health, damage and density by 12.5%.
If 8 players in a group are all carrying a SoH, then you’re looking at double health, damage and density for monsters. (No extra XP or drops per monster. The density modifier does not apply to bosses, superuniques or uniques.)
