I remember people saying that mods with stacking had duping issues and that it was easy to dupe/perm with the stack function and that’s why it would need extra coding to prevent that and testing!!! so we won’t create additional issues to the existing ones.
Did you do any testing beside the best case? Did you try the existing/previously existing exploit tests? I doubt it if you only spend 30 minutes with it.
Would love to see some of the experienced D2 exploiters try your mod.

Had you spend only a fraction of the time you spend on forums actively participating in the game death and instead spent it learning how to mod it you’d know the answer
It’s the exact same mechanism as the current Rune upgrade and afaik never heard anybody generating tons of duped hr from this recipe
I mean, to be honest… the game grew over the years. With the same inventory size, over time, they added charms (small, large, grand), jewels, runes, keys, organs, essences, tokens (did I miss anything?) without increasing the stash size. So, one could argue they didn’t realize the things they would implement or add as items when they created the amount of space they gave us initially.
I feel like I normally don’t support most changes, but I would support a specific tab like how they have in POE, where you can insert and stack all of your crafting materials/currency. This way you wouldn’t be able to stack in your own character inventory, just in the tab you store it. However, I can see benefit for trade being able to trade more than 40x of something. The obvious concern is opening doors to duping, or some other kinds of glitching. But aside from that, I’d like to store my crafting items, and play Tetris with the actual loot.

If you would just spend 1% of the time you are posting useless stuff in actually learning the game and testing the nonsense you post, you’d stop posting the nonsense.
