Yeah, sounded weird to me at first too until I realized how major the “solo” part was. No more 4 man advantages. Also, they’re limiting paragon points to 800. I’m sure that will be controversial. Probably a good idea imo. High endgame power should come from gear. Just wish they’d have better gear like D2.

It eliminates the 4 man paragon farming at high GR’s, which slows down progression a bit.

Speaking of fast progression, PezRadar said via Twitter that the Altar of Rites is coming back as a permanent feature in Season 30 and onward.

Looks like D3 Patch 2.7.6 has some meat on the bones with new SSF mode, class balance changes, etc. We can only hope to see something as exciting for D2R.

Damn thats crazy they actually implemented it in one of their games. Looks like it might actually be coming to D2R.

If they do it I’ll reset my respect meter for Blizzard back to 0.

Oh as expected…it IS pointless, get over it! It is strictly epeen material, it changes NOTHING with the way the game plays, it is just to make the people who feel the need to care feel better that instead of being ranked #837394 on the regular ladder, they are now #98134, wow what a difference and really makes me look forward to a SSF ladder.

It is just literally a piece of data to track, it changes nothing, hence in reality pointless.

OK, if it’s so unimportant, then why are you vehemently against the idea? If it comes, and you don’t play it, then consider it a nothingburger patch. No need to risk an aneurism over it.

IF...

They want a way to better balance the classes, getting data points from a SSF ladder is a great way to collect that data.

Jfc, I have never been against this idea like being against ploot, p8 online, etc. I have admitted many times in a perfect world it would be cool to have SSF but in the current state of blizz with botting and account levelers, the reality is it is pointless.

Good chance d3 got SSF because unlike d2r, they do not have an “offline” mode on PC.

Should not the current season even be the last season for Diablo 3 with new content? All the cooler that it comes for d3, now please for us :smiley:
