i upvoted the OP just for the sheer balls to ask such a simple question that can be looked up anywhere in such a toxic place. whether its ignorance or just sheer will idc. (probably the former but who cares, you get credit regardless)

The problem here is folks have to look stuff up or they can simply ask someone who has.
Now, I’m not arguing that Diablo 2R should be simplified. The game is fine as is, but when someone asks a question, most times they’re given the answer but they’re also given a resource to look into. Like, “Watch such and such video by such and such youtuber” or “google this tool, it’ll help”.
My point is, sometimes there’s complication for complications sake and Diablo 2 has a ton of it. Some think that makes for a “deep game”. Me, personally, it makes for doing homework before you can start to get even a basic understanding of the game. That’s just stupid but Diablo 2 is a fine game, no qualms with it, but I think it’s a little overbearing to expect someone to go through tons of homework just for the answer to a question.
And yes, I know socketing uniques is pretty straight forward but throwing up a list of 4 or 5 resources some “needs to see” is one of the dumbest things about the game.
Like if I was to ask the question: On an Act 5 merc, if you have a Lawbringer and a Headstriker, in which hand should each be?
I’d probably be told, watch this video, it’ll explain it, it’s just too complicated to explain otherwise. That’s a problem, whether people realize it or not.

I know you can get socketing through Larzuk, but I’ve run out of options for Larzuk. What I meant is through the Cube recipes. I’ve searched but had no answer on the net. I saw people using 2 eth head strikers on youtube and wondered how they got them. This is a serious question and not trolling at all.
