while exiting my game it suddenly crashed and upon relaunching it I could not access my characters with the error message “Failed to join game” hitting me every time, every character the same result. So, eagerly to join again I tried to search the forum for leads, leading me to this resolution: [SOLVED] "Failed to join game" for offline character after crash
Upon removing (add backup to desktop) my file SharedStashSoftCoreV2 in the save games map of d2r I luckily one again could play, so far so good right. Not really, upon closer inspection, all the 3 shared stashes on my characters was suddenly empty. All jewelry gone, equipment gone and most of all… high runes, neatly stashed and farmed for thousand of hours. Quite the shock and very disappointed for the moment. I added the same file back to its original place, still nothing in my shared stash. Only echoes of hopelessness.
The questing or rather yell for help at this point is; have any one suffered the same kind of problem, and more importantly how can I again see my lifetime of achievements again?
