We wanted to give a heads up on the start time for the new season for Diablo II: Resurrected.
Diablo II: Resurrected Season 7 will begin on May 23rd for all players globally starting at 5:00pm PDT. As with all new ladder seasons, leaderboards will be cleared for the new season.
These sticky posts often get overlooked, new season announced for May 23rd. No mention of changes, maintenance mode most likely continues.
Bug fixes announced, least it’s something. Hopefully Decoy bug is fixed cause it’s quite annoying on amazons.
Yeah quite a bit shorter than the usual ~5 months, suppose they’ve got a lot of dates to juggle around with D2LoD, D3, D2R, and D4.
No bug fixes is a bummer indeed, changes are kinda w/e to me now but can’t even put an intern on fixing a couple of tooltip bugs or localization fixes or something. I would expect nothing less though.
I strongly dislike pushing D2R launches this close to D4, some of us play both even with the lack of content updates in D2R, they should have pushed this back a couple more weeks.
most people that care about d2 don’t care about d4, i’m sure there’s a minor overlap but neither game is that serious. you really only need 2-3 weeks per game.
haha…Again, the new season starts without an update. If there is no new runewords update, let’s at least manage the server properly. Blizzard, go to work.
Egads. A month early, and only 9 days from D4 reset. I had planned on a build on D2R next month, but looks like a pass now. At least some bug fixes are going to be part of it, so maybe hope for the future of something interesting to come back for, but think I’ll pretty much uninstall if nothing announced during the XBox show next month (Rod did state recently on Twitter about new stuff coming this month and next month to the Diablo universe, I had hoped that statement was for D4s season 4 and DIs new class this month, and next month coincided with D2R reset, but that went out of the window).
id love to play again, but unless lobby chat is cleaned up with some way for me to block the spambots and filter out spam messages. i sadly don’t see it happening…
We’ll see though, hopes aren’t high, but crossing my fingers that Microsoft’s takeover might start to bear fruit.
