Season 7 starts May 23rd - Bug fixes announced

Hi all -

We wanted to give a heads up on the start time for the new season for Diablo II: Resurrected.

Diablo II: Resurrected Season 7 will begin on May 23rd for all players globally starting at 5:00pm PDT. As with all new ladder seasons, leaderboards will be cleared for the new season.

These sticky posts often get overlooked, new season announced for May 23rd. No mention of changes, maintenance mode most likely continues.

Bug fixes announced, least it’s something. Hopefully Decoy bug is fixed cause it’s quite annoying on amazons.

The rinse, repeat and reign of the RMT botters resumes once again without Blizzard lifting a finger.

Oh well… Enjoy. I’ll be sitting this one out.

Yep, unfortunately the sad truth. Just patiently awaiting private servers myself… :kissing: ~ :notes:

3 month ladder? Seems a bit shorter than usual.

:-1: on the no changes or bug fixes.

They’d last longer if the game wasn’t completely overrun with bots.

Then there’s the problem with the massive amount of spam.

D2:R was pretty much a promotional stunt to advertise and sell Diablo 4.

Yeah quite a bit shorter than the usual ~5 months, suppose they’ve got a lot of dates to juggle around with D2LoD, D3, D2R, and D4.

No bug fixes is a bummer indeed, changes are kinda w/e to me now but can’t even put an intern on fixing a couple of tooltip bugs or localization fixes or something. I would expect nothing less though.

Looks like there’ll actually be some bug fixes at least, I was wrong haha.

Oh, wow… A culmination of what, going on a year of hard work to fix a few bugs.

At least it’s some inkling of attention to this old can of a game they keep kicking down the road.

Yeah, hopefully it’s meaningful bugs like the Decoy bug and not some localization fixes or something haha. I’ll take a tiny crumb over nothing.

No new content!? Why are they treating one if their best most cherished games like this?

D2:R hasn’t gotten any new content since its release.

QoL/bug fixes =/= Content

Calling runewords content is quite a stretch, I don’t consider them content.

Because D2R doesn’t make them any money. They don’t even do bot banwaves anymore so they don’t get that revenue.

Thats just sad…this game has such a dedicated fan base, just look at some of our best members here. Really dedicated, smart, intelligent players.

I strongly dislike pushing D2R launches this close to D4, some of us play both even with the lack of content updates in D2R, they should have pushed this back a couple more weeks.

Another lack of anything season. Hopefully, there is a surprise in the bug patch. Maybe ww will be able to proc on hit.

most people that care about d2 don’t care about d4, i’m sure there’s a minor overlap but neither game is that serious. you really only need 2-3 weeks per game.

If you want, I can fix the craft requirements bug and deliver the table ready to be compiled.

haha…Again, the new season starts without an update. If there is no new runewords update, let’s at least manage the server properly. Blizzard, go to work.

Egads. A month early, and only 9 days from D4 reset. I had planned on a build on D2R next month, but looks like a pass now. At least some bug fixes are going to be part of it, so maybe hope for the future of something interesting to come back for, but think I’ll pretty much uninstall if nothing announced during the XBox show next month (Rod did state recently on Twitter about new stuff coming this month and next month to the Diablo universe, I had hoped that statement was for D4s season 4 and DIs new class this month, and next month coincided with D2R reset, but that went out of the window).

id love to play again, but unless lobby chat is cleaned up with some way for me to block the spambots and filter out spam messages. i sadly don’t see it happening…
We’ll see though, hopes aren’t high, but crossing my fingers that Microsoft’s takeover might start to bear fruit.
