Not here to complain just wondering how the Queue works?

Many times I log on and i’m placed in the queue and currently I’m 165. I walk away from the computer and do random things and I come back to check on said Queue… I am still at 165. I then restart the game because I think its stuck ? ( But is it?) and then I am placed in the queue again at a higher number but this time the queue is actively going down?

Should I just ignore that the queue is not going down and wait it out or should I restart the queue and suffer to lose my place?

Correct. Just ignore the number. It does not update in real time. It will go from 165 to 88 to IN without a count down.

They mention it in the patch notes

We should note that the higher your queue number appears, the slower the number will refresh in the prompt. The number is still refreshing in the background, so we do not recommend leaving queue as this will create further delays to you entering the game during these high traffic windows.
