Please tell me, is it possible to create a character and play Diablo 2 resurrected offline without an internet connection on PS4? I searched for similar topics (Huge problem, please help), found one - the user reported that he played several months offline without an internet connection and connected only when the game was updated. This is strange, because I read that you need to connect once every 30 days? Thanks in advance for your answers
I’m on Switch. I play both online and offline. So my answer might not 100% answer your questions.
I never tried staying offline more than few weeks so hard to know about 30 days. I have also read many others talk about blizzard need authorization every 30 days. Assume it’s true.
I’ll say you need your first connection online to authorize thereafter you can do away with internet for 30 days. Rinse and repeat.
Nintendo switch online is the only way to connect with Blizzard servers. Having standard internet wouldn’t work.
I know PS has ps+ to go online. Also plain internet for free to play games for online without ps+. Not really sure D2r internet connection requires ps+ to authorize.

Not everyone post results online to verify the 30 days is completely gone for good. Only people with problems bring up these issues. Best to try yourself. At least you know what to do if you can’t continue.
