They will continue to exist for awhile after P8, but eventually the vast majority will no longer turn a profit compared to other forms of shady gaming revenue.

This is an incorrect statement. p8 online will lead to more items from BOTH legitimate and illegitimate sources. Since more legitimate items exist, there is a reduced market for RMT as more people find their own items.
It is simple economics. More supply and less demand means less sales.
Simple fact, its really hard to find a 8 player game that stays open longer than 2-5 minutes.
I don’t see why blizzard wont just allow it as a configurable when creating the game.
As others have said people p8 with multiboxing and it only benefits the exploiting community.
Playing in a P1 private game is too easy, and its not rewarding either.

If p8 brings me 0 runes great. Its the harder monsters that will make it worth playing (and the hunt for random cool stuff thats probably worthless but special)
