Well they fixed it for the public test realm but there’s no indication that such a thing will be included for retail ladder. They may have just done it for the public test room so it would be easier to test the games and get games together.

6 hardcore games available to me at this moment in time. That’s not good.
Edit: just noticed this thread was about classic. The 6 HC games I could see were LoD. Classic must be worse. Ha.

the most games ive seen in classic is 2 at the same time
if its effecting expansion then it will get fixed
Yeah same here. But not just hardcore. SC America’s hell list (at least here) went from what was always 20 games to like 2-3 today for the past 6 hours or so.
This should be for all game modes and games…
How about adding a normal game browsers that also has option to sort by latency as well as mode, difficulty, available open slots, name, and what have you.

Try living out in the sticks. I see 1-3 games for normal, 2-4 for NM and like 6 hell games at any given time. It’s doesn’t even come CLOSE to filling the one page list. I have to play on the Euro server to see games at all.

Yeah… That’s my lobby lol. There has been exactly 1 game for several hours now. Like half a dozen spam botting selling stuff though.

when they announced a remaster of diablo 2 i never ever thought it could possibly be this bad.

This is my biggest gripe about the state of the game. Sounds like they fixed this for the public test realm, but there’s no indication that such a fix is going to carry over to retail. They haven’t stated anything on this issue whatsoever so who knows.
They are 100% doing it – that is, only showing games from local IP or some other algorithm that limits the game list. There was a workaround for this that worked up until early last week but now doesn’t work anymore. I was able to see the full game list and would join games that way until they disappeared upon the first auto refresh.

I wish they would have copied PD2’s game-list/lobby setup up right off the bat. That is the culmination of playing the game for decades. That is the best possible way to play D2 online.
But instead the removal of chat channels and local IP filter completely killed off the casual player base. And that’s the opposite of what any good game would ever do.
I think we’ll most likely see the IP restriction removed for 2.4, but I would really like to see those other features implented as soon as possible (game list uncapped and search filter).

I posted this back in January:
I tried my hardest to get visibility to this issue. You can use a VPN to bypass your crappy local region (1 game in hell, none in other difficulties), but that cost money and isn’t reliable.

me and a few other people have been making topics about this issue literally since release day and no one has mentioned a thing
they can respond to requests from little kids like p8 and why the amazon looks funny but they wont respond to this absolute game breaking issue… there are droves of people who left because they couldnt see games.

cus VV is trash dud they done 3 hotfixes and zero major fix’s to the game i expect nothing from them at this point
