Capable play is the player who can drive the game, doing enough dmg to carry the game in some important way. Uncapable player is not that.

The reddit poll shows othetwise as well as every poll with a decent number of respondents that asked the question where the data was made publicly available.

If so, what is 39%?
Even if you ignore thete was another category of respondents who favored adding optional ploot (13%), the numbers 38% and 36% are similar.
If 1000000000 people voted 2% would be ALOT of votes.
Si a minority voted to keep D2R FFA only. 39% is a minority also.
It is not a small minority nir is 36% a small minority.
That was13%. That was s separate choice. 36% voted for a loot option with no tradeoff. An adfitional 13% voted for adding the option with tradeoff.
49% voted ovetall for adding optional ploot.

You can not put the 13% in yes only. so its still 36%.
The 13% would say keep FFA is ther is no trade off…
so you can also say. 38+13=51% say YES to FFA…
36% versus 39% are similar percentages. The claim was only a small minority favor adding optional personal loot.
That “small minority” claim is NOT supported by the data.
Also, adding the 13% to the FFA only is stupid. These individuals voted to add ploot with a tradeoff. They did not vote for FFA only loot.
Imagine a vote with two political parties and 3 candidates. 39% voted for candidate 1 of party A. 36% voted for candidate 2 of party B. 13% voted for candidate 3 of party B. 12% voted do not know.
The truth is 49% votef for party B. 12% were undecided. 39% voted for party A.

I make my exist from this one sided-debate, because you kids accuse others of toxicity…yet you are unable to have a conversation without appealing to ad-hominem. I am tired of trying to make you understand why this is a change with negative effects on the game and the community. There are sooo many changes that the game needs, changes that don’t destroy the core elements, yet you are stuck on asking ways in witch to be able to get more loot without less effort.
Stop complaining and wasting time arguing on this subject. Personal loot will never come to Diablo 2. This is a non subject. The developers understand what this game is about. They understand the need to preserve this archaic loot system and maintain the legacy of this masterpiece. I am confident that they know what changes really need to be done. 
Remember…nobody is making you play this game. There are other games that can cater to your needs.

You may be correct. However, the head of the entire diablo franchise tweeted adding optional loot allocation system was being discussed pre-D2R launch (mid August) even thoughy it definitely would not be in the game at launch or potentially ever. He even further explained that if an alternate loot system was introduced, it would be optional and be set at game creation. FFA loit would remain the default chouce so that ploot would require opt in.
This led to this topic to die down a bit. Post launch, he reopened that this would be discussed more.
Moreover, Blizzard’s own survey asked if the pkayers were interested in ploot replacing FFA loot.

Adding an option still means you can play using FFA only loot. Adding a choice does not remove the other alternstive.

I just checked it. First of all, the question is not for what people ask here. The question there is about personal loot where every person will get own loot. Its not shared distributed loot. Question is basicly about if players want what diablo 3 has. I think many people properly didnt understand the question. You included probably since you argument with it.
We all know what this system did to Diablo 3. It destroyed trading so no thank you.
Second point i would like to say is that it is 36% for yes and thats still minority.
We do not know what players would do if given an option. We know polls have sampling bias.
I think we can say fairly that a significant fraction would choose FFA only games and a significant fraction would choose ploot games. To me, I suspect the majority will shift to ploot; however that is speculation on my part.

Yes. 13% of the people would not wote wote on party A untiel they got the kandidate they like.
So they never voted Yes for party A… And party A would loose 36% to 39%.
