We dont need to change game because people who want to share loot can already do it now in private games. Its better to invest dev time somewhere where its more usefull.
Well thats funny be ause some people say its exact opposite and its actualy melee chars who cant pick loot first because they dont have teleport or enigma.
So i guess its actualy balanced? 
Your solution is to avoid pugs.
Ours is to improve them with an additional optional feature. I think this would be a big improvment to the overall game and community, if you don’t thats fine, but not an objective argument.

But you dont improve them. Players who want ploot are small minority. Capable players will not join ploot games so leechers will be played together and will struggle. Ploot is not even fair way to distribute loot.
Melee can’t pick up drops, when they are right there at the drops? LOL, you are unbalanced. That is if it were fair. Now, that being said, the only advantage teleporters have is if they are using pikit, that I understand. They tele in and pikit grabs everything.
Now, if ploot was installed, it wouldn’t matter if you were melee, ranged, or cheating using pikit. It would in fact be fair and balanced.
I came to the conclusion we are just wasting our time…people have their minds made up. They won’t listen to reason and are unable to have a civilized conversation without going straight to ad-hominem.
They want these things…and they want them NOW! They feel they are entitled to the game experience they want without thinking about the impact the changes will have on others.
It’s like Don Quixote fighting the wind mills. No point to argue with them. They will only cherry pick parts of your arguments and just try to discredit you.

It sounds like my experience with RNG… the game always decides what a player can pick up… my lack of high runes is not because I chose to not pick one up.
And with my luck… yes, it is unforgiving.
ALOT of salty ploot tears. Iam here to collect them all. 
ploot will never come. Deal with it.

Dont tell me, its basicly argument i saw from multiple many people who want ploot, they are complaining that characters with teleport are taking item from them because they are melee characters.
No it would not be fair. Is fair that barbarian will get magic wand and sorc will get arreat face? I dont think so. Ploot is far from fair loot distribution. I would even say its more unrait than ffa loot. Imagine killing baal and arreat face and oculus will drop. If you are barbarian, what are you going for? Oculus or arreat face? Obviously arreat face as that will improve your character. You have fair chance to pick it up as most people will go for oculs. With ploot? Game decide if you get it and you might easily get nothing. The worst part is that you can do nothing about it. Game drops arreat face and basicly says you dont deserve to have chance to pick it up. Thats not fair system.
