Please do something about JSP

You need to do something about JSP. It is quite literally ruining the economy and the game hasnt even been out for 2 weeks. If we have to play self found to get enjoyment out of this game then why even have battle net servers? We cant trade because of jsp. We cant compete with people who have full bis gear in 2 days. There is absolutely no point in playing ladder.

Blizzard… Please do something about this. Im begging you. As a D2 player for 20 years. Please.

people have been asking for this since people started using the site to buy items in like 2005/2006 they didn’t care about it ruining the game then and they apparently still don’t now i had hope because of the new bnet and the updated eula that they would do something about it but i doesn’t seem like they will.

so just because cheating is “part of the game to many users” we should ignore it?

Agree with you… Hate D2JSP too. unfortunately many people like to play game using bot. i can’t change this fact. soo i just play D2 with my frends (just use BN as a big LAN)

d2jsp today, is not about using bots. It’s just a trading website, which blooms because, there are no better alternative.

You wanted trading I guess, so deal with it. Trading by internet web site is the most efficient thats why it is here, searching for items using bots too. So you want trading in game and low drops then deal with internet trading and bots.

Because it didn’t ruin the game; it did the opposite. Jsp played a vital role in the success and longevity of d2. You casual players need to gtfo.

I’m not a jsp fan boy and don’t care for the owner of it at all. I’d much rather Diablo implement its own trading site like PoE, but the same kids would be crying over that. This take of “jsp bad for game!” is for delusional casuals with no concept of the game.

Actually how about you get out? and no JSP is not part of the game.

Keep on giving that kid who runs the site your money, one day you fg will be useless.

But the forum gold values for items are the same value for when you trade item for item…

For example: 2-3 ist is Vex, either in item or Fg. No one is ripping anyone off except the folks in game making games like: 30 nagel for soj,

Also, you can just trade item for item on Jsp if you want to…

Use the site or don’t, but it ain’t going anywhere.

I disagree,

a 2002 forum should not be the dictator of trading prices.

It’s not….those values are based off the current d2R economy…

They change as the server/season progresses. Same way it has been since 2000

I disagree,

it actually seems that every item value is based off of jsp. Especially when compared to other trading sites.

I agreed, i wouldnt want to stick around while they (JSP) and others that trying to sell for profits. They did the same thing on Diablo III and had a auction, later on took it down. Just too much grief and rip offs, most of us want to enjoy the game, if it just a simple trade like trading for chips, gems or whatever they may be interesting, that i dont mind.

There some players out there will try get the best gears, so they can skip most parts of the game instead of earning it. For ladders, idk, make the items untradeable???

HRNNNNNGGGGG~!
The Necro is strong with this thread.

D2JSP does nothing to the economy as long as it’s not a RMT and most of the time it isn’t. For Forum Gold to have worth, items need to exist.

Even without D2JSP setting the bar for what item values will be, another medium would popup and become the source in which the bar is set.

There is always something to set the pace, it’s a matter of who is the most relevant and for D2R, that is D2JSP.

At the end of the day, people who want quick trades can use D2JSP - then you have folks like myself who prefer to trade their loot for whatever they feel it is worth right then and there.

My Ber for an Oculus? Absolutely, I am not miffed by it. I have all the time in the world to farm and am not concerned as I will eventually find another Ber.

Exactly,

unless if item trading is turned off, ladder is not going to matter.

I agree with that to an extent,

but where I disagree is, during the last month, other trading sites have had an onflux of of people who lowball others for Forum Gold, and you could say well there not from jsp, but when actually looking into the profiles I trade with on other sites, you could definitely most likely tell there from jsp.

Im not saying that JSP is a garbage website, but It appears far too sketch to be considered a legit trading site. Also, I personally do not like the idea of one guy being in control of eveyones accounts on there, where he could easily swipe fg, rob, or whatever along those lines. If you like jsp, more power to you, but the site itself is hurting the trading economy in my opinion.

Do you have an example?

+1 I completely agree. I just don’t know what they can do other than suing them, and I think they would have done that already if it was viable.

I would love to gladly provide that example,

but I fear that I will get reported for harassment from that user.
