clearly this is not an issue with farming anything. Pindleskin farming IS NOT broken, the servers are.

I love to Farm nitha only, for me the best Drops and now I can’t do that.

I don’t care if Blizzard nerfs Pindle into the ground to the point that he doesn’t drop any items at all I will still massively farm him
I mean TBF there is no reason to keep games up at this point IMO. once all players have left the game just close the game. there is no need to keep them around because you can Mule from within your own inventory if you for some reason have a need to also use another character to hold more items. Has the game been up for 5 mins? cool keep it open. has the game been made for 45 seconds? 1min 30 seconds? and all the people left? close the game it obviously doesn’t need to be there
What you cannot adapt till the problem if fixed. You cannot run Pindle then go beat Mephisto, Baal, finish with murdering cows. In order to ensure that you don’t run into the timer. Doing this all on your own solo.
The whole point of d2 is farming the same thing over and over again. If you are against this, I’m curious how tf you play the game? Are you going over and over through the acts in one sitting or something?

Never was a fan of Pindle farming. They should move Pindle into the Halls. Either that or shrink the drop table.
Its not difficult to throw Countess in with your Pindle run to allow the timer to reset. At no point should an MF run last 30 seconds per game.
They did shrink the drop table. But he gives nice exp.
As for running the 5 levels of the Countess in the same run… I guess you missed the part where I do Pindle when I don’t have much time? I can do multiple Pindle runs before I could even find the entrance to Countess.
Besides, I’ve done so many Countess runs I’m sick of her.
I love how everyone seems to assume that when I mention that I run Pindle, that’s literally the only thing I do in the game, over and over, every time I play.
this isnt the reason it is breaking. This game has been played like this for 20 years. You are an idiot it you really believe that.
The whole point of Diablo 2 is NOT to kill ONE mob and then make a new game. I personally am used to killing enough mobs to not get realm down.
I killed mephisto 1022 times on hell, got everything i needed from his council and him.
See. Now you believe me that these greedy people are the ones burdening the server.
- Create a Game
- Play It.
- It didnt drop the target item
- End the Game
- Repeat Step 1.
You see Step 1 to 4 is just around 15 seconds. In a minute, they made 4 games. Multiply these greedy people to thousands and millions and voila, you get a busted server.
This is happening becoz of the stupid game mechanics. When the game didnt drop the item, reset the game, make a new one and do it again. And everyone on Multiplayer are doing these.
Would Blizz make more Servers to satisfy these greedy players? Never.
If everybody is just playing the game simple… log in… play the game for 15 minutes to 8 hours straight, the server would be fine. But that’s not happening.
I would recommend starting with Pindle, then do Shenk/Eldritch, maybe Mephy, Trav council members, LK, and then rinse repeat game. That should take enough time, and LK/Trav have HR chance, Pindle and Shenk can drops lots of items, etc. You and a million bots are farming for gear, so a timer was put in.
Considering you don’t even understand how queues work, you’re not particularly qualified to speak about “the whole point” of Diablo 2. Or really anything else being discussed in this thread.
and in the old game this happened too. Just kill something else in your game. There are lots of quick and easy targets to mix in, like eldritch. Or you could do AT and Pits, which probably yield more drops than pindle tbh.
A lot of good areas are quite hard for new characters though, and pindle is very quick and easy. Stuff like Trav are chaos are much harder without dying
Pitts (lvl85), mausoleum(lvl85), crypt (lvl 83 I think?) and secret cow level (lvl 82) are all act1. They’re pretty easy. Cow lvl may be somewhat tough for some.
Ancient tunnels is act 2, also easy.
You’re more likely to find decents drop doing just these than you are running pindle. You also get to play the game instead of playing the “load screen simulator 2021.”
If you add in Shenk and the other super unique north of the fg waypoint youll never get that error.
