how do you know it’s controllers and not just fast clickers and better latency?
It could be ANY of this. But controllers definitely have the upper hand for PC looting since they auto-target drops and can snag drops before they hit the ground occasionally.
Do you have any video evidence from your claims? I do on Youtube when it comes to the pickit program though.
Some serious editing going on in your posts, my man.
Also I don’t defend Pickit at all. I’m against all bots/hacks in D2R. HOWEVER, don’t come to the table with a bunch of anecdotal “evidence” and expect me to take it as gospel that these things are public and a problem.
Dude. Assign your primary skill to the same button as the default for loot. You’ll be swimming in garbage loot you never even saw on the ground.

I edited it because you got so worked up from my post and took it the wrong way. I did you a favor so you understood what I meant. ![]()

few corrections needed here.
they do have the upper hand in a single scenario and that’s boss kills on a clean floor with an open inventory and small drop items.
since they auto-target drops
they don’t auto target drops the drops are targeted by proximity and is much harder to aim at 1 thing in a crowd than mouse.
can snag drops before they hit the ground occasionally.
they can not snag drops before they hit the ground it just looks like that to some people because of latency just like it has always been in the game since i first started playing it with horrible ping.
and in a scenario other than duriel and baal they could be a huge hinderance because trash drops get targeted just as likely as well they are nearly useless for things like baals minions because everyone kills them in a stack.
so for the majority of the game its a much worse looting experience for 2 bosses it’s kinda nice but as someone who has only played multiplayer with a mouse i have won more than my fair share of loot.
Jesus christ read above.
I play on both PC and Console and have lived the auto-loot nightmare. It’s why I remapped my buttons and told my other casual friends who play it to remap theirs. We were constantly overburdened with bolts and arrows and other garbage pickups.
Here, I will even do you a solid and be the first one to post video evidence that backs up what you described from your statement that you accussed controller players from doing. ![]()
- Posting this can get you banned. Don’t do it.
- D2 is NOT D2R. You can’t compare the two when it comes to bots/hacks.
controllers can literally grab loot before it hits the ground
I have posted it several times and it’s a video on Youtube, so don’t worry. So now that I posted video evidence that shows proof on what you stated that controllers are doing, “grab loot before it hits the ground” which is being performed by the pickit program, where is your video evidence of controllers performing the same function?
David the assumption was that we were talking about boss looting. I’m not about to go into the intricacies of every scenario. And when a boss pops loot, yes you will auto-target that loot because that’s all that’s in proximity.

that’s only for 2(one of them is a2 which no1 does as a farm) out of 5 bosses , and no the assumption is not that, you were responding to someone talking about pickit users the pickit script is even more useful in trash mob scenarios than bosses i would have assumed it would be more about chaos runs than anything.
Yes that was the assumption. Just because you were late to the discussion and didn’t read everything doesn’t mean I’m suddenly talking about everything.
Lets say baal drops 6 items, all in a line 1 to 6. If ALL the items disappear one after the other, almost mechanical then that is pickit. If they disappear in a random grab, then it isn’t and if you pay enough attention, you will see it…I’d like to say it isn’t super common at the moment but it is getting worse, especially with static runs.
So Turd, where is your proof from your claims that you posted? I just backed up mine, can you not do the same?
It is VERY easy to spot hackers using this, Blizzard are you going to do some ban waves or give us actual tools to report?
god i hope so. since it would be account ban, makes people less likely to do it.
How do you know it’s PickIt and not people using controllers?
was all the posts leading to your assumption of controllers and bosses how does that show any evidence of only talking about a single boss?
Bruh. I can’t with this ignorance. It’s like you came in to argue about nothing.
What you are talking about has nothing to do with what I was talking to OP about. Neither of us were talking about trash mob drops. Go troll elsewhere so I can reply to the other idiot in this thread already.

No I can’t give you a video, but I literally see this every time I play on XBox with my friends that are new to D2. I will kill something and things will hit my inventory before the ground. It’s why I had to remap my primary skill to a different button than the default action button.

AnxiousDavid is actually one of the ones you don’t want to get into a debate with. David is OG.
