Just an update on PTR status. We are expecting a new PTR build next week for the community so expect notes and news about that sometime next week.
We are still on track with our internal schedules for 2.5 and will also have a Season 2 start date in the PTR notes that are posted so people can properly plan out their time well in advance of the Season 2 start.
Looking forward to the feedback on the new PTR changes.

I think the timeline will look something like this:
PTR announced Thursday (Sept. 15) and starts Friday (Sept. 16) and runs for 1 week
PTR ends and they take a week or two for feedback/changes
Patch 2.5 releases Sept. 30
Ladder resets Oct. 7 or Oct. 14
That’s my guess for a rough timeline, hopefully we’ll see next week though. I was originally guessing Sept. 30 for ladder reset but this upcoming second iteration of the PTR throws that off.
Yeah, I noticed that too, but curious what other features could be included? I don’t think it will be anything significant. Maybe we will see a few balance tweaks, including hammerdin nerf.
Hdin nerf, TZ, new runewords, new ladder. That’s about all they can manage. Just like how he hinted at “new items” it was just a bait to keep everyone talking about it. He could have said “new runewords” and there would be no discussion really. They have to find some way to generate hype about the mediocre updates.
