Patch 2.3 Highlights COMING SOON

On classic they did get rid of most of them somehow though or we were able to do it through a keyword text file or something.

Please give ONLINE players the slider for /player 8. I can’t tell you how annoying it is to make a game wanting ACTUAL people to join but it’s just some jackass farming high runes… the thing is, being that jackass is the only way to really get high runes. PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN!

/players isn’t coming to online for the reason it would affect the online trade economy. Spam bots aint going anywhere as one change will just have them do something else. And note most games with trade have issues with them, not a lot can be done.

You’re in for a rude awakening, this is just the beginning, they said more stuff coming soon

Good fixes, but lacking in any form of content. I was hopeful the game would see some improvements that increased longevity, but its going to stay a niche title it seems.

You mean the economy that’s charging thirty men’s weight in gold for a Ber or Ohm? The economy only stabilized when bots duped… accept that fact.

Glad that they make additional QoL changes. Not so sure about „balance changes“ tho. Please no „balancing“ every season ala d3.

Name them…Besides there being a queue on the rare occasion now, and lobby nonsense that nobody uses anyways… Crashes are almost non existent and rate limiting will be coming to an end when they’re done developing the new code for it. I’m not really sure what your issue is if it’s not those because as far as I and many others can tell this game has really been cleaned up in the last few weeks.

Yay, useless update. Fortunately, all minor changes outside of Nvidia DLSS. They can keep their Diablo 3 skill casting system, it is literally useless.

What difference is there in casting from a keyboard hotkey than using function keys (or whatever you have mapped) and right clicking to cast? Ohhh, you can cast without removing your ability bound to your right click… woooo… yay. You save all of half a second, great.

Can’t wait for loot filter

That’s something they definitely need to add soon! They could even just make it a simple in game thing to hide useless stuff like scrolls, bolts, arrows etc. depending on what you wanna do.

Usually, you are pretty chill, but I’m sorry, that is kind of a weird thing to call useless and such. It is a HUGE QoL for very key dependent classes such as Necromancer, or even scrolling through buff skills such as Barbarian Shouts. Especially for older folk that don’t have the dexterity/can be forgetful of key binding (since can’t see what is bound unless you go into the skill switching menu anyways). If they later pair this with duration timers, even better. Skill hotbar was check two on my top three desired features for D2R (Ladder ungate/Hotbar/Balance Changes).

“the D2 you all know and love preserved”

Loot filter is a HUGE QoL. However, either has to be used in Personal Loot or Solo play. Not sold on it’s “fairness” in “competitive” loot at the current D2 droprates (and I’m not complaining about the droprates, as frustrating as they can be at times).

Eh, if they add it directly into the game, I don’t see a problem with being able to hide or shorten the names of basic items. I wouldn’t mind ploot if it didn’t change drop rates and was just a loot allocation method though.

Amen!

/20characters blah blah

Beginning of the end it seems. Was fun while it lasted.

If they insist on bending over for any kind of fickle criticism, hopefully they add a “legacy” mode that’s just the original masterpiece without all these random and nonsensical changes.

Great changes but I’m still underwhelmed, there are a lot more things to be made in D2. This whole wait time between games is making muling unbearable, the minimum they have to do is add more stash space and allow runes/gems to stack.

I actually can’t see the benefits and I’ve got plenty of hours in D3 and that style of skill casting feels immensely counter intuitive. I don’t see it working in D2R but it’s another different folks different strokes situation. For me, it is entirely useless.

Also I have very bad carpal tunnel and tendonitis so I can say from personal experience that it hurts like hell to use such a system on an outstretched hand that doesn’t move.

I am all for the changes and do not care about “purism”, I want to see the game evolve, bug fixes, balancing, new act even etc.

However I fully agree with having a new character mode to separate all added features. We already have “non expansion” and “expansion”, and now we can have “resurrected” character choices.
