Short answer why it will never happen is D2 JSP. Because it would make fg lose so much value, that site would be worthless and the people who botted in the past and piled up hundreds of thousands of fg would be broke.

You have nice dreams. This is not 15 years ago, this is now. Not only bots dont work that well in D2R as in old D2, but its highly ineffective to have them in one game. D2R doesnt have timeouts for fast creating like old d2.
Your theories doesnt reflect reality dude. When you have bot, you need fast killing, target certain stuff. Not run them on high plaer setting to make it harder for the bot. The longer it takes for bot to kill, the more issues bot can have with targeting and stuff. If you actualy check some bots in D2R, they do have issues with targeting monsters. They are good only for very few places like pindleskin, baalrun, travincal…

It doesnt matter on how many playery you would stack bots. Even just 3 bots will farm better in 3 games than being together in one game. If someone is stacking bots in one game, its honestly just dumb. But i would not except less from some botters who dont understabd the game after all

Tbh I want /players command specifically for an SSF ladder, when it comes to online(or w.e we call it) I would just raise the exp/loot baseline to something like players3.
One thing that should motivate this should be the short season cycles people seem to prefer.
To your monkeybrain point, if you’re playing assa, druid, barb or necro and cry about sorc and hammerdin, why didnt you pick it in the first place? I see your point but it’s not really what I’m talking about.

No. The only difference would be people doing split runs or hijacking games would now be in their own game, which makes sense since they were soloing before as well. Now all the solo players are actually solo in their own games.
Good. Though drop rates in P8 aren’t that great. If you are fine with split farmers getting these drop rates, why are you afraid of everyone else having them as well?
Class and build balance is unaffected. If you have no issue with spec X sucking in split runs, why is it suddenly a huge problem with players command online?
Nope. Though they can feel free to continue buffing additional specs as that is a separate issue.
I doubt that’s the only thing everyone would be doing as most would find it boring, but if it’s that good of a strategy maybe it needs to be adjusted.

First, botting is against the rules and botters should be banned.
I think adding p8 online is a good idea and do not use bots, so you are wrong.
As I will explain, online p8 hurts botters.
In fact, commercial botters probably hate online p8 and would argue against it. If players could legitimately get gear at a higher rate, then their is more supply for legitimate trading, and items would have less $ value. Essentially, online p8 hurts botters.
Even if we ignore that…
Lets just consider competition for sales between commercial botters. If demand exists, the idea that p8 would lead to 8x more items means that item value would crash and profit margin disappear due to competition and oversaturation of supply over demand.
No its need private loot so ppl can play together.
p8 would lead to a complete lack of build variety. no one would ever play ce summon necro again for example.
class balance is a problem of its own and no one brings a summon nec to a split farm game already
