New D2R end game content

You guys totally missed the elephant in the room. It’s not about if they decide to add stuff or not, it’s just not going to happen.

A) no plans whatsoever for further development
B) the game gets a new issue each week, by the time it is stabilized people won’t care (5 years from now)

Not my fault you didn’t read what you were buying.

In the very unlikely event that Blizzard decided to do anything more with this title, don’t you think they’d make an “expansion” that was based in the original code? They’d almost have to right? So if they did offer some kind of “end game” expansion I would imagine that it would also apply to Classic Diablo II and Lod would it not?

So everyone would be against any kind of expansion?

New runewords were once rumored to be coming out…did that ruffle your feathers?

They added more shared stash tabs? Did that get you frothing in anger? How did you cope with that one?

If you are so dedicated to the “status quo” then why bother playing resurrected at all?

The runeword hype was smashed by Blizzard the other week THANKFULLY

its not bout ruffling feathers, I think its just about being realistic lol

I’m not talking about NEW runewords. Talking about the introduction of the runeword system. You, anti-changes guy, would’ve tried to block the introduction of runewords period.

And that’s why no one should ever take your opinion or tastes seriously.

are you talking about that Japanese interview? the one that was mistranslated?

Because they advertised it as a remaster if they said it was going to be a remake I wouldn’t have bought it.

Says the person buying games that he doesn’t even know what they are

And you’re reaching again because were all here talking and playing LOD (remastered) where you’re trying to make arguments based on nothing any of us have actually even said.

You’re just exposing your ignorance consistently and it shows by the sheer amount of responses that disagree with you.

It’s more simple than that. I read the description of what the game was and made the decision to buy it. Something you people don’t seem to understand how to do

Reaching?

You and other deadbeat purists = anti-changes no matter what change.

Introduction of runeword system = change

If you guys had you say back then years ago, then current game today would be worse.

How is this logic reaching? Anti changes vs. changes.

what kind of argument is that?
it was an expansion to the base game, an expansion you know… usually EXPANDS something, thats exactly what LoD did.

A remaster → brings something in line with current OS/Hardware standards, maybe quality of life standards. But keeps the Base game intact.

I think you are confusing something between a remaster and an expansion.

SC1 remastered. Changes? well resolution and textures, prolly netcode
WC3 remastered, resolution hotkeys netcode(prolly), removed functional ranked system

Why should d2 “remastered” be any different

Oh no, here we go again:

So that means you guys are OK with a D2R expansion?

The biggest kick in the face was the forced patch on the legacy client. poor WC3

Right… How many 100’s (thousands) of Mods were in place for your “vanilla” Diablo II expeience.

This “as advertised” doesn’t have any of those options.

You can pretend and try to convince me you didn’t play with any mods.

Now you’re going to kick and scream against the OP making a suggestion that Blizz will not read…and Blizz will not implement.

Okay and? I don’t see what point you are making here

Actually didn’t play with mods, only played closed bnet. → then poe

Zero

Question: Is it possible, to play the Original pre LoD version of Diablo II?

yes why wouldn’t that be possible
