My feedback on the Barbarian

I enjoy playing the Barbarian more than any class. Though you can never start off with a Barb and there is so many reasons not playing the Barbarian since this game is all about farming. Sorc or paladin is almost always a better choice.

A few suggestions

2-handers
Make these viable. 2-handers are almost only used for mercs with the exception of full IK-set.
For the Barbarian, when using wirlwind, increase to AOE area it hits enemies when using a 2-hander.

Find item
This is the main reason one play a Barbarian. I don’t roll any build without putting at least 20-30 points into find items and find potions.
Though, the way it works makes it so slow to use. Killing of a big pack of monsters and then trying to find item on them takes forever.
A suggestion would be to have something like “Chance to loot a nearby corpse by xx %” which increases by putting points into find items.

Frenzy
Remove the synergy for Taunt and increase the % damage for the double swing synergy. Since almost all Barbs specc for Find items, there is not enough points to specc a good frenzy build with find items.

Leap
I like that something was change for leap for 2.4. Though the skill is just used for movement. I think something like changing the animation and the barbarian do a cleave-attack when it lands. Using a 2-hander and it would cleave in a bigger area. Of course I don’t know how to solve it for spear class items. Maybe the cleave is just not triggered when using spears.

Wirlwind
I like the changes that was implemented for 2.4. easier to manage the wirlwind now. And great that the mana burn bug is fixed.

Excuse me, barb is best farmer in game.

He is just more tough to level up solo, thats all.

2-handers suck. Simply more than double dmg than one-handers could be good start.

Find item is good as is. Making it automatically hork for you is not a healthy change. We must hear the “huaaaa” voice.

Frenzy really has too many synergies. 1-2 is enough. I think it should have been Doubleswing and Increased speed. And like 12% dmg synergy on Doubleswing. And 0,5sec duration increase and 1% increased attack speed on Increased speed synergy. Frenzy barb playstyle should feel like being on cocaiine exstasy and redbull. Fast.

Leap speed is great for movement. I personally started Ladder as Leap attack barb and it is great for Normal-Nightmare difficulty. AoE Flat is great for that part of game. But it doesn’t scale. I think it should scale either with weapon damage OR with boots kick damage, like kicksin does.

… And overall yes barb playthrough is slow as hell. I guess there are not many players that tried beat hell with barb selffound. Most players play sorc/pala anyways.
