Are we going to get our characters back, or do I have to start from the beginning again? When do we expect a fix? Can I create a new character while waiting for the fix to bring my online character back? Are we going to lose that new created character when you implement the fix?
If I find anything out, I will message you here. SO far what I been able to find is that if character online and off-line had the same name. One could disappear. I know I had two alike named characters.
Well I can only say what was told to me… Right now hope that you get your chars back via a rollback or something… otherwise… yeah… they are just gone.

I have tried logging off, restarting, and logging back in. Still, the characters are gone.
I even tried loading them on Switch for comparison to PC and the issue is not with my computer because they are missing there as well. It has to be an issue on the servers…
I wonder if anyone has gotten their character back? please post if you did so we know it is possible…
*Update: now the online tab just does not load - unable to connect to battle.net. (this issue I had for part of yesterday)
*Update 2: after the whole day of checking in. Now I can log in to Battle.net again and all my characters are back. So, this back and forth might be happening for others. hang in there hopefully all is restored as well.
I mean, I hate to say it, but if this continues, maybe we should start up a nice little class action lawsuit against Blizzard. It certainly feels like they screwed us with this bug, and if they refuse to refund money despite the game being essentially unplayable, I feel like that would be an easy thing to convince a jury of…Maybe I’m just a bit naive though. Ultimately, I hope it doesn’t come to that, as I really do love the game. Just a bit peeved that there’s a BIT (sarcasm on that word) of a game breaking bug, that apparently support is helplessly useless on…
