As outlined in this post, using a controller on the PC client causes micro stuttering to occur every 1-3 seconds. When the controller is not connected/turned on, the game is totally smooth. As soon as you start using the controller, the game stutters slightly.
The thread recommended turning off vibration to prevent this stutter. This did actually fix the problem for me and another in that thread. This makes me think that there’s some issue with the vibration event loop/checker.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: RTX 3080 OC
RAM: 16gb
Controller(s): Happens both with Xbox Series controllers and the Gulikit King Kong 2 both connected via Bluetooth.
