Blizzard thank you for remastering this game , however if we do not get a ladder going soon and new content this game is going to die. Die hard D2 fans like me will always be here, however this game is a ghost town. There simply needs to be a ladder and new content every ladder or this game is going to die so fast it is not even funny. Only old timers who want nostalgia will play it , new players will simply turn to better alternatives like Path of Exile , Last Epoch things like that where there is a thriving community and constant updates as well as new exciting challenges etc. If you guys really want to see D2R up to its full potential you need to get this freaking ladder goin ASAP!!! Also we need new content , new bosses , dungeons, something anything !!!
D2R has all the potential to compete with these other games if only the deveolpers would put there foot on the gas with some new content and for God sakes give us a update on the ladder times this is insanity… Soon enough no one is going to even care! You guys said ladder was top priority in oct , then said it was coming in January… We now almost march , please for the love of god tell us wtf is goin on . April??? June?? July?? 2023?

D2R was not made to compete with titles you mentioned.

what was it made for then ?? to be dead on arrival? because that is what is happening! It is sad and pathetic the state this game is in, I am one of the biggest D2 fans ever but i can admit that at least. Without ladder at bare minimum even many of the die hard fans will start to disappear they already are i think. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would defend these people at blizzard, makes me wonder. Without ongoing changes , new challenges every season it will be really dead. At least get the damn ladder going for god sakes!

D2R was made to separate people from their money. Tick them off so they will buy diablo 4 whenever that comes out.
The serendipity is that now the developers are playing on YouTube and having a good time at our expense.
You will never convince me that they could have some kind of ladder when they released the game. Truth is they have no working ladder to put in the game.
Good Luck everybody and stay safe.
As for me an old man with cancer. I am watin on a ladder and I hope they stop the nonsense and put one up sooner rather than later but I don’t see it happening.

A half a year is peanuts to have the game in a far better place than it ever has been in 20 years.
2.4 is shaping up to be an amazing update to D2.
If you can’t understand that doing a job right with limited resources takes time then I don’t know what to tell you.

Newsflash, old times are already only players. Most of them are off playing other games while they wait.
Have a bit of patience you spoiled gamer. D2r only exists bc they willed it into existence. Kiss their feet. Your empty threats are baseless and have NO place in helping our masters create something that might hold us over for another 20 years.
People today are so short sighted and need constant attention/stimuli. Please, go outside, take a deep breath.
How many copies sold? Why do they have limited resources?

Patch 2.4 is going to kill the end game (pvp)
Need to stop listening to these pvmers

I too am happy with the game and 2.4 patch but I just can’t get myself to play the PTR anymore. I am rdy for the ladder alright.
They’ve already made statements about certain games having less resources by their own decision
thats my point, so even though they have say 40 million revenue on the game they arent allocating anywhere near that. that doesnt mean as a customer we should be like well its ok they dont have the resources. thats what you say about a small indie game with 1000 customers. thats not what you say about a company that HAS access to significantly more resources but CHOOSES not to
Where did you get that revenue figure?
How much did they spend making D2R?
How much have they spent after launch on D2R?

So you ignored the other thread because you have no counter just to come here and completely miss the point. I made up a number hence the word “say”. The whole point is they have limited resources by choice not due to revenue issues. So weird that you would miss the point and argue something not related to the point. I’m convinced you have to be trying to be this stupid. No one is this dumb
So now we know you struggle with once and say. Any other words to avoid?
Let’s say Blizzard made $40 million in revenue on D2R and let’s say spent $45 million to develop D2R. In net, they have lost money.
I can make up numbers to…
I do not think that is the case as Blizzard’s operating margin is 30%+.
Why should I respond in that thread anymore? Look at my posts versus yours again.
So you got some likes. Congrats. Doesn’t change the fact you ignored every direct question I asked.
Are you arguing they lack resources for d2r because of lack of money? If not then what is your point other than to argue with things I’m not saying and avoiding what I am. As per usual.
I also find it funny that you had no likes after 20 minutes. Then got 5. And none in the next day. Did you really tell people to like your post. How pathetic I already said likes on here to not suggest who is right and anyone thinking 5 likes means they are right is nuts.
You made this claim:
You do not know what their D2R revenue was. You do not know what their D2R expenses was. Do you know what there net margin was on D2R that may directly impact how much resources that they want to dedicate to D2R? Do you even know when they started working on D2R?
Clearly, they have dedicated resources to D2R post-launch. Blizzard was remedying D2R game/server issues (see the December PTR to test changes to combat server instability) while also making game changes (as evidenced by their current/recent PTR)s. They are releasing ladder soon.

So you ignored the question again. So weird. You are the worst type of person. You can never make a definite argument. You just argue semantics that don’t affect the point and think you said something meaningful.
It’s like I say gas is going to $4 because of Ukraine and you say yeah well I paid 3.88 today so what about that? That’s what it’s like talking to you. And then the rest of your post is telling us that gas is used in cars and other vehicles like we didn’t already know that.
I heard the other day the majority of people with an iq under 85 can’t understand hypotheticals. I’m guessing analogies too based on how you’ve struggled
Let’s see question #1
Not worth typing out a response to this question for obvious reasons.
Let’s see question #2
Nope. Another useless question that does not deserve a response.
No the question asking if you think blizzard lacks resources do to revenue issues. You know the entire point of my post you are being a moron about
