I am also having the same issue.
Same issue here, happened most of the day yesterday. Was able to connect for a bit today and then it happened again. Can see lobby games list sometimes but cannot join or create a game, even with newly created characters.
canāt get in, same issue. Unable to even create a different character to play online, get failure to join.
Iām stuck for 4 hours now.

The thing is, a restart of the servers wonāt solve the problem. Itāll only fix it for some and ruin it for others. So in the end, more people will have been affected by the issue. So I get why theyāre not just restarting them every now and then. What I donāt get is why they donāt solve the problem. Iām certain there are multiple temporary quick fixes that could be applied until they find a more permanent solution.

You can still play Hardcore characters, its only the non-hardcore that are bugged out
yepa 2 hours + this problem been there for me aswell feel for them who is /had it for 12 hours damn !
Everyone plays, or no one plays. Reboot the servers and request help from adept engineers from other activision projects.

I play HC and my character is bugged for about 10hours =/
Same here, please at least reboot servers, yesterday this fixed it temporarily as well
