After the technical break, my paladin torch 17 17 dissapeared. Only 2 organs left to open uber tristram !!!
After the server crash there was a small rollback that impacted some folks. Initially all the chars were not displaying at all, but those came back to an earlier save state.
Unfortunately, Blizzard does not have second by second logs for this game and does not have item restoration services for D2, D2R, or D3.
In this case due to the technical nature of the server issues latest save data was lost.
If you aren’t able to restore it and I wasted 3 weeks on playing, then I demand money back for the game
Yeah… I also asked for the refund. I was told nupe cause I had played the game… I told them I wasn’t planning to play it until issues are fixed… but I had playtime on my account… well no duh… I lost my sorc… so depressing. So no refund and this is what they told me about item/character restoration… what MissCheetah said basically.
MVPs are other players who are happy to provide basic info. I don’t work for Blizzard, get compensated or anything. All I have is Green text. MVPs don’t speak for Blizz or represent Blizz.
If you want a refund you can try but they consider all digital purchases final. They make exceptions, but that is usually for situations where the game has not been “used”. Such as inability to install or run. Or of course a pre-purchase.
A played game won’t be granted a refund.
