Perhaps but it the fact remains that the game was designed with those limitations in mind. D2 LoD’s 20 year legacy far out weighs D2R. The core experience has been altered so much that no one can ignore the bad decisions of D2R’s dev team. D2R is a farce version with pretty graphics!

There are more people in the camp of wanting change than there are in the camp who want the game to stay the same as it was 20 years ago.
Devs didn’t respect the source material! I think we can all agree that too much of a good thing is very bad for a game like D2R. Most are against turning it into D3 loot 2.0, so why hasn’t game creation been addressed? For Ladder anyway, there should be some sorta hard limit per hour imo. D2 LoD was developed with certain limitations in mind but D2R the limitations are no more. SSF Ladder isn’t likely to be a thing even though alot of players support this idea. As of now, D2R is a shell of what D2 LoD is due to bad development, I am not the only one who thinks this!
I just don’t see it as the answer to your problems. The streamers have experience, they’re going to win SSF too. What then?
I say bring it! As it is though, Ladder isn’t something a normal player can hope to compete in.
For about 300K per year he makes just on YT, you would do it too I guess. So not complaining, he had an idea and people follow him, watch his stuff and he makes quite a bit of money from it, so why not…

No. No one gives a damn about those streamers. We are not jealous of people who at best get 3k views, but on average it’s even less than 800. They’re even doing this in “Softcore” which is pure pointless and absolutely skill-less, just human bot project, for God’s sake!! D2 is NOT a stream-able game, period. We want changes.
Nevermind them openly exploiting, nevermind being forced to see their faces when we just want to launch D2R (why?!?!). They can do whatever they want and guess what we don’t really care (I am not even a SC player). Read the topic very well it’s clearly us asking for changes to enjoy the game. Teo gave up because he wasn’t feeling well and he picked a bad class to do it, realized he shot himself in the foot and then Blizzard accidentaly made his character even worse by reversing the Sunder charm effect on his traps.
He is doing it because people want to actually spend more than 10 seconds in the game, so he is giving a full 8-man Chaos or WK to the rest of the party while he farms the TZ.
While he farms the TZ, the others do Chaos or WK (depending on the TZ area) because if everyone goes to TZ, the game lasts 10 seconds.
Lies, the loading screen will consume 8 of those 10 seconds with the fastest SSD on the market!
Your post count says one thing and then you say this. Yes, you want some changes to the game, I will give you that.
But “no one cares”? Lol? This forum is riddled with people waiting to make a petty jab at Llama specifically (because let’s be honest, you say streamers but I don’t see people gang up on Jymnasium for instance), whether deserved or not.

I don’t even know who is Jymnasium and don’t want to. What I read and verified is this “Llama” openly exploited at the start of Ladder. The posts are understandable, you justifying their behavior isn’t. Be fair.

Yes. No one cares about them. There is an outrage a backlash over openly exploiting at the start of Ladder which is understandable. Quite frankly, they should be banned. It’s explicitly written in the EULA. But this is the world we live in.
Stop defending openly exploiters who spread the exploit man, have some class.
Addendum (edit): And to proof to you I don’t hate them just because they are streamers, there: Watch Bloodxdoll, that is actually a decent and fair player. Zero exploits and Hardcore too.
The thing that always becomes apparent to me during streamers’ domination of ladder is this: We need /players 8 for bnet now. They can simply maintain /players 8 by asking an army of viewers to afk in their games. So they already have access to /players 8. The average player should be able to compete with this.

People cannot wait to say how much of a noob he is, how much of a no lifer he is and how pathetic he is.
Well I do not remember people chanting to ban other people for G-rushes, people chanting to ban people for doing the mercenary bug and so on.
Meanwhile yes, his team used the bug in the beginning (because he himself is a sorc so he can’t do it obviously) but at this stage he found more of those charms without the bug and gave away more than he found with the bug to people.
He also doesn’t have a full inventory of skillers because of that. Because guess what, he had no time to do it when he was rushing and now gaining levels.
If Blizzard intended the charms to be super rare, maybe the discussion would be different. But as of now, from the observations, they are about as rare as low runes so I estimate the harm as the same as people who were doing the G Rush or other exploits from before.
Bodach, I been sayin this forever and people fought me (even before Ladder 1). Anyone who plays D2 and has common sense knew it would happen. I specifically even written how “streamers” can abuse it:

First of all: false equivalence, those are not new exploits in a new content update in a new game. Huge difference when they exploit a new game (D2R) update content on LIVE STREAM. But even then, you are wrong. I did ask for grush patching:

The rest of your post, let’s keep it very short and simple: Dude, those people aren’t even remotely mentioned unless they are exploiting or breaking Ladder. They have done it TWICE. It is very understandable. Otherwise no one cares about them, simple and short.
Some people care about this game and want to improve it. People have been on my teeth for so long fighting me so hard and I still don’t give a crap about their attempts to silence me. I just hope you people now see that I were right, and fight the good fight with me.

This is about D2 (specifically, D2R). Not “streamers and e-celebs”. Please pay attention to the topic: we are requesting changes from Blizzard.
Easier said than done whenever mrll’s face is on the games launcher AND he is “winning” the season. Come on get real!

O really? Because I recall some vicious campaigns against Llama when the patch changes (2.4 for instance) were introduced.
Ya know, all of those people salty because he wanted something and it got changed when he wanted 10 other things that didn’t.
To the point where the fact that he is the “lead Developer of D2” became a meme.

So they were pissed about his streamer privilege. So everytime he does something wrong people outrage at him, makes total sense. Where is the problem? He should abuse his streamer privilege to take the game to his direction while openly exploiting? Why are you defending him this hard, I don’t get it… Parasocial relationship or mutual benefit?
I mean, all this outrage to me is very justified. You defending him and not being fair isn’t to be honest. It’s quite weird.

Absolutely. I’d say ploot is less of a necessity and more of a qol. But ploot would not affect the game for anyone that isn’t interested in using it, so there’s no reason to be against it what-so-ever. /players 8 on bnet is becoming a necessity for a variety of reasons. Would end pirating games meant for other purposes, killing bosses when people are trying to quest, etc. Would make the average person competitive against streamers who can have viewers afk in their games for /players 8.
