I am not talking about wanting to patch it. I am talking about being as zealous in the campaign to ban people for technically STILL breaking the Terms (whether it’s a new or old thing - I can almost guarantee that the Terms do not differentiate between what’s new and what’s old content).
And you may say that it’s false equivalence when it doesn’t fit your narrative, but for me the situation is similar.

Blizzard knew about it
Blizzard didn’t ban for it
They chose to fix some stuff with the rushing without banning people just like they chose to fix the drop rate of charms without banning people.
I would argue that it is a necessity because of script users (auto pickit), latency, distance of character position that kills the monster and of course controllers have an advantage.

Because that bug is in D2 which Blizzard ceased support and D2R is a 1 year old game with new content. This is false equivalence. Besides, I am okay with banning people who did grush in live-stream, no problem at all. I do not exploit it, I play the game. What are we arguing? Banning more license of those streamers for abusing even more bugs? Yay for me!
OR we can patch things out, listen to community (such as this topic) and make changes. Start with ploot and /p x command.
You are clearly not seeing it if you think it’s an outrage because he did something wrong.
How hard is it to understand? People accused him on influencing the Devs with the Aura’s nerf and accused him on molding the game to his will while there were literally DOZENS of things he wished for the game that WEREN’T implemented.
Like the Character limit. Like the Uniques buffs. Like the AR buff. Like the WW Barb and so on.
I am - I guess - defending him because I see how illogical it is. He has a right to his own opinion and that’s all it was in the case of the changes but even know after a few sentenced you went straight to “abusing streamer priviledge”.
How people act like someone literally gave them torches and pitchforks and told them “there be witches”.
I mean I don’t recall that so I can’t comment on it, I know there a certain “youtuber” who requested changes to the Sunder Charm and guess what? All three of them were almost exactly implemented! Coincidence? Maybe, but it does raise some concern.
But like I said I can’t comment on your scenario because all I know from this “Llama” is that he is an openly exploiter on live-stream and not very ethical. I do not even know why we are discussing them. I rather discuss changes for D2R and have them implemented personally.

with years of experience speedrunning content and playing with maximum efficiency utilizing minimum resources, all done on singleplayer with no trading
Who is going to find bug, dominate, be ahead or whatever word you may choose : one who plays 20h straight or one who plays few hours on sunday? Yeah, answer is easy.
Would a lot of people abuse a bug if they found it? You can bet! A lot more than you can expect to admit. Do i really care in this game for that? Not really, play how you want.
And i agree, watching a streamer is a concept only some people even consider, even more in diablo 2, a game which is not very strategic nor espectacular, and we know it from back to back: little interest, but don’t mind people watching. And people blaming known faces is a given ofc, you can’t blame someone anonymous, there is not much to see on posts like that either lol.
If that was the implementation sure. Ploot is same as current loot only items are auto-allocated for people in the area (or have done damage to enemy? Bu game is too unbalanced for this). It would NOT increase the drop quantity or qualiy.

Many streamers also have the same help from their viewers, only difference is other streamers spend much much way much lesser time than him.
So why do you just wanna cyber attack him when so many other streamers do the same? Every new season u are out to cyber attack him? Out of hate? Out of jealousy? Feel inferior? Or because he is more popular more well known, got more viewers that other streamers?
Get your tiny whiny crap to Twitch, Youtube or other streaming platform instead. They are the ones who created this “Streamer” job.
