Well he was abusing the exploit so probably got great gear from having his lackies trade those, but Blizzard rewarded the abusers by fixing the exploit after 24 hours so the prices would go up again.
They take good care of their posterboy lapdogs.
Winning a d2r ladder is probably a goal for him, of course heās doing to do whatever he can to get there. If heās prepared to put in the hours to cross the line first then why not just let him cross the line first?
I donāt watch his videos or his streams so I donāt think Iām biased but he clearly spends a lot more time ingame than the average player, if he crosses it off his bucket list then perhaps heāll be less likely to go full-throttle next ladder?
Tbh this thread just sounds like sour grapes.
Itās a pretty narcissistic goal because it doesnāt require skill but rather having 7 grown men with families and full time jobs say sure buddy, Iāll waste my life just for you! Iām not being biased either, I just think Season 1 was a complete s*** show, and this devs are still enabling it by making P8 Terror Zones soloable.
I also see Teo gave up on the race. I wonder if this had anything to do with it.
The Hardcore race is the only realistic one. Dark Humility and Blood Dolls group all stick together.
Wow again some people caring about what other people do in their life.
Some streamer living from what they doing, btw probs 10 times better then most people here. Jealous? Some maybe, could have worse jobsā¦
They build up a community and no matter how boring some of you think their streams are (btw i donāt like to watch them neither) there thousands of people that enjoy the time in chat with the people and the streamer. Who are you guys to judge them?
Ofc these big communitys got the best premise to get on top quick. They also got some skills.
However i would actually also like to have a option for a ladder that makes everyone play under same circumstances, but gossip viciously about other peoples buisness is just silly.
okay, and? so be it. what are you gonna do, throw your toys on the ground and get out of the sandpit because someone else has better toys than you?
SSF Ladder, make it happen!
Whatās with the attitude clown? I was just logically pointing out the flaws in the ladder race and where the devs should improve on it.
Absolutley NOT. This will kill D2 100%. This game has been around as long as it has because of its trade economy. Terror zones already flooded the market early and thatās bad enough.
Yeah it was probably a bit harsh but youāre being silly. Besides, whatās going to stop llama, teo and other streamers from competing in ssf and beating everyone there too?
so true they would still be on top haha
If they did beat everyone in SSF then I would actually be proud of them.
Youāre confusing me with the salty old timers that have jealous hate towards streamers. Iāve supported streamers since day 1 because this game was built off community.
Go talk to those guys, do not talk to me ever again.
I would be honored to be bested by mrll if he did it solo.
Yeah, then he can dominate the SSF league and other teams can battle for normal ladder
Seeing as you went to the effort to embolden the āeverā, no probs bud.
Itās the point that he doesnāt win the ladder race legit. He also abused a known bug and streamed it, and still hasnāt been banned. He is nothing but a cheater. He has single handedly ruined this ladder season.
for what? for running a 8 man party of pros and having people who support him? nobody stops you from finding people to grind at ladderstart. nobody can stop you finding friends that help you. i donāt get the point at all. the bug wasnt knows before it went live, instead of accusing people maybe you show us some clips since the streamer have all evidence in their VODs. i think you just repeating what other people braggin.
I think you are all hung up on llamas nuts. Itās completely obvious to everyone else. He is a cheater straight up. Continue to believe streamers who only make videos to get you to click, and gl in life.
at this point with blizzard not having any grip over jsp and the strummers getting āhelpā ā¦ ssf ladder does sound like a good idea.
So you are ok with a clown openly exploiting a āraceā by bad mechanics. Sure he isnāt botting but with that massive team to carry him, he has it VERY easy in his endevors. Immagine if you could command 100 or more people to collectively give up their forges, save all gems along the way and craft your items day 1. I would be happy if they would stop calling it a competition because you HAVE to play this way to ācompeteā. Sell us on one thing then bait n switch! The biggest culprit is Bnet itself, classic bnet has a strict 20 game enter per hour limit where d2r does not, this is a major difference that should be addressed in some way for Ladder but probably is intentional. 95% of D2R players cannot dedicate 15 hours a day for this game.
I used to love Ladder resets because on classic bnet it was far more fair than D2R. I mean, I could go to work come home and still rise through the ranks. It took about 2 weeks to see a bunch of lvl 95 + due to game create restrictions. Meanwhile, comming home day 1 of Ladder, there were an awful lotta lvl 90s, day 2 95 +. If the meta is cheating the system so be it but please donāt sell it as a competition!
In this instance, yeah. Streamers and their communities have done more for the game than youād probably be willing to acknowledge. Yeah okay it was exploited but ban-worthy? no.
So really your gripe has nothing to do with the bug and everything to do with them having an unfair advantage because of the pull they have with the community? If so, thatās okay but just admit it rather than trying to frame your frustration at their social advantage as them needing to be punished for exploiting a bug.
Iāll admit itā¦ they definitely have a social advantage. Ban-worthy? still a no from me.
Iām not biased either, I donāt even watch llamaās streams or his videos as theyāre not my style.
This is gonna sound a bit odd but in equestrian competitions thereās this term called HC - hors concours - which basically means that youāre allowed to ride but youāre excluded from the placings so your score isnāt included on the leaderboard. So even if you place āfirstā according to your score, you donāt win and youāre not eligible for prize money.
Itās used because professional riders sometimes enter the same competitions as amateur riders (for varied and legit reasons) but riding against a professional can demotivate regular riders. So the pros enter as HC and still get to ride, and the placings are left to everyone elseā¦ everyoneās happy.
I could probably get onboard with people who have won a ladder having their accounts marked HC so that they are allowed to still play ladders but be excluded from the placings.
Is that something that would satisfy your frustration at them having an advantage?
Itās pure speculation on my part but that was probably a way to relieve server load 20 years ago as opposed to being part of the game design.
