Ladder 3 Botting issue

Personal experiences will vary, but I think it’s a given that botting creates a bulk of the early ladder runes and gear that players then trade for. I’ve had some crazy SSF progress as well, but my one character is one of thousands and doesn’t necessarily reflect the average.

But how are you getting access to those botted runes/gear? And if your delay was not easily being able to find someone to trade with, even if you don’t like JSP, between traderie, discords, other trade forums you could still secure the same trade even if bots didn’t exist VERY early on in the ladder. If it was just the perception of it lasting longer because you were stuck on a lesser than build because you didn’t trade then that really wasn’t the case. Back in like 06 or 07 when they did the huge bot ban and I was still end game early on. And perhaps that was always the fact that I was going to trade off the stuff I didn’t need and knew if it had value because I wanted to gear up my chars better and not worry about the excess so much. But still the bots didn’t change that experience. I wasn’t slower to end game becuase they weren’t botting.

Same as anyone else. You use a tradepost site and flip assets. The problem caused by botting is the saturation of runes more than anything else, which leads to very early ladder power spikes, which then leads to total item saturation as more and more players are power farming. This would happen even in clean ladders, but in a few weeks rather than in a few days. It’s comes down how quickly human players can get many high runes to drop from the game vs how quickly bots can do it. The advantage for bots being that they don’t ever rest.

Too late for that, they should do it day one.

if u dont use d2jsp u dont give a fk about market prices u are happy becouse everything is more affordable. complains only from legit d2jsp players which are trying to make profit but they are jelous to peoples who have bots and profit much faster. this is a reason of this forum becoming a cryforum. u never stop boting it was it is and it will be. every game have cheats every. so u must chose you are on wining side or loser i already choosed now its youre turn

Not necessarily. It makes finding some unique items feel less rewarding because their value decreases in game as well when there are too many of them in the economy.

Only in a rock bottom economy does that happen. Sure it is going to happen sooner, but early game is still going on. You can still trade that low vmagi or magefists for the same rune you would have traded it for 3 weeks into last ladder. And your ith rune never really had value, it still wouldn’t regardless of bots. Bots don’t even pick them up.

But the rock bottom is clearly going to happen very quickly this time around. That does suck, but at least trash uniques will be easy to get then?

I played 2 seasons ago, i feel like it was very similar to this one…
Another key factor i feel like you are missing compared to old LoD is that we are now able to trade on all different realms, this have definitely (compared to my old memories) taken a torn on the D2jsp prices for sure.
On LoD the prices would stay up for weeks if not at least a month because there simply wasn’t as many people in the trade pool since it was realm restricted.

I feel like D2loD bots was just as advanced, and the game required less, so more bots could be run personally, and account creation/ character creation was unlimited and free of charge.

Tho i definitely agree with you, that blizzard should start banning bots but it won’t happen like it didn’t happen in LoD well it did, but only to make more money of people. They know the software, many of the bots are laying open on github, they know exactly how they work, what libraries they use the exact cordinates they will click over and over and over for 100 hours in a row… But they simply don’t really care.

Clientless bots are a thing again. Bot scripts are way better earlier on than they ever worse. And hardware limitations don’t matter when you’re clientless at least not nearly as much.

Not really i would say, looking at the software my self and i don’t see any geneious coding, or any fancy algorithms… You could probably create a bot similar using GPT…
Well just in smaller files at once.
Nothing really stings out to me, and it really never have done most cheaters barely know how to code, and often do their work quite terrible…
They probably never taken a single university course, but rather wanted to make some money of copy pasta from someone else.

Rumor

Blizzard sells accounts at a discount and distributes Auto farming Bot programs. And block to some extent. According to the automatic hunting Bot I know, more than 50 clients run with only one computer with 256Gb RAM. Illegal sales and transactions of accounts, Blizzard that did not prevent this, the important thing is that if it was the 1 account 1 principle, this problem would not have occurred.

Where’s the #$%*ing blue post

Ban everyone with more than 1 bot! But people with only 1 personal bot arent botters, the bot is more like a secretary

Do you ever see those in this forum?

Yeah. Imo, gear grinding nowadays is basically a waste of time when the bots are doing it for you and throwing the stuff on jsp.

There are clientless bots that use proxies. They self level, they self rush, they self gear. They auto mule. They follow dclone and switch servers if there is lag.

All of their scripts probably could use fine tuning, sure, but what they’ve done to improve the bots is indeed pretty crazy. They’ve reduced hardware load to almost nothing, they’ve made it so their time investment to get bots up and running is next to nothing. And they adapt to certain scenarios quite well.

I think they should all be banned, but I don’t think you could even code that. Now obviously I know nothing about what you can or cannot do, but I don’t think that is a light undertaking. No doubt the ones with the level of coding are probably people doing it as their job, but it is still indeed impressive automation work.

D3 season starting today d4 beta in a month release in 3 1/2, sadly they don’t care about their playerbase anymore. The only goal they have infront is collecting more :sailboat: s for Bobby.

I mean just look they don’t care, they don’t even moderate their own forums just do everything automated and lazy. This dumb  openly admits to bot and nothing will happen to him, that’s how they “love” us.

But he didn’t “openly admit” to botting… Unless he did in another post?

Everyone of you guys who even remotely mentions “fg” on official forums should get temporarily banned.

feelin the same way. it’s just dead. d2jspers killed ladder in 1 week…
