JSP needs to be banned before ladder

Ban Jsp before the ladder. Ban all bots. Ban all spammers. Ban JSP twice.

Yes, ban that individual person named Jsp!

How do you ban a 3rd party site that Blizzard has no control over? I get you don’t like it (and no before you decide to flame me, I have not nor never will use it), but how would you go about making sure it was banned? Please propose a solution.

Make an SSF ladder that binds item to account. Dont like it? Play the other ladder.

Consider that a fix

Edit: But would people just buy loot rights? It drops, you sell it on the internet, someone logs into your game and loots. Maybe this is not the fix.

Edit2: In Taiwan they shoot you 5 times in the heart and once in the head if you are caught doing bad things. Maybe that would do it?

Blizz has zero control over a multiplatform site that is the largest gaming trading site in the world. Which has their own RPG game and events.

Fun fact - Blizzard tried to purchase D2jsp before the release of D3 but Paul the owner turned them down. So shortly after Blizz attempted the RMAH which then got shut down by the government. Ironic isn’t it.

This is interesting. Ill do some googleing.

Much people never buyed fg with real cash. This is just a tradeforum…all the fg they have is from items they found. why you care if someone trades not ingame. Its not ur buissnes

Have to LOL its some guy called Paul. Richest man ever on the dole.

Diablo 2 is all about trading. Solo self found with forced item binding is flat out dumb. Go play D3 for item bind.

Easiest solution to jsp is just don’t use it. You can also go play single player. Perfect SSF. Bye.

I’m lazy, what’s jsp?

Its where you trade your eternal soul for a Thul rune.

Soulbound ladder imo.

I would pay for the game again just to have this.

wow, what a enlightening answer.

blizz should focus on actual issues instead of people “trading their souls for thul runes”

Jsp cannot be banned legally because it does not violate anything

Your mum might tho.

That is completely untrue. It violates the ToS you clicked I agree to when installing the game. Blizzard has not authorized the use of it’s IP (Intellectual Property) on Any website they haven’t authorized. Guess what, D2JSP isn’t authorized by Blizzard.

People love to say otherwise but no proof is ever provided by the people that say that even after being asked.

It’s funny reading people actually try to argue they haven’t violated anything when it’s written right in the TOS.

It’s a site where you can buy forum gold (which is that sites currencies) then you can buy items from people. It is basically a forum. So let’s say you were looking to buy a Shako. You would create a thread on their site saying “ISO Shako Best Offer Wins” and then people will respond extremely fast with the offers in that sites forum gold and if you like it then you send them a message with a game name/pass for them to join and then when they join you go back to the site and pay them what they bid and then they will give you the item in-game.

You can have a Jsp admin get involved if you need but if they scam you then you can report them to the mods on the site (there is a form I believe) and they will take the forum gold what you paid from them and give it back I believe and they like will ban that person. Although not sure as I have never gotten scammed nor scammed anyone.

Except Blizzard can’t do anything about the site. Good luck trying to prove someone used it to do an in-game trade. There really isn’t anything Blizzard can do about the site. The only thing they could do is buy it but they already tried that and the owner refused.

Yes it is against the ToS to use it (and before you flame me for shilling for them I have never used it for trades and never will), but enforcing the ToS for using the site is all but impossible.
