Join game to MF and everyone leaves EVERY TIME.. It's time for /Player 8 online

/p8 is one of the things that will actually help casuals without hurting everyone else.

Maybe if implemented in a reasonable way it might be a good thing.

I would be pretty annoyed with you joining, making the enemies more difficult, not helping with the walk, and potentially blocking quests from being completed. It’s just selfish behavior.

That said, I’m fine with something like /players 8 being added. So I imagine I’ll take arrows from all sides in this thread.

If I am in a game alone or with a friend, I am always happy when others join and stay in a different act. It doesn’t matter which, above or below, since we can simply recreate when we get to cleared content.

Maybe your problem is that you are terrible at the game and always need help in progressing? Keep practicing and believing in yourself, you’ll eventually get better! Maybe visit the forums for guides, I’ve heard that helps…

lol wow edge lord much?

If there is a game “Hell Walk”.
The people who join should be doing the walk with the host. Joining because it has many players, to speed to do chaos and meph before the players in the game working toward a goal together is a dick move. That persons a dick.

Its not complicated acting like a selfish dick makes you a dick lol.

Play single player then. You can have exactly the player difficulty you want at all times. I also suggest joining baal or chaos games if you continue to play online. They are less likely to notice the difficulty increase that newbs in act 1 will feel.

Nope

King of hells mechanic would solve this

Any progress done by other people in your game will benefit you as long as you stay in the game

Part of the reason I support /players x is to get toxic players like the OP away from everyone else. So in a roundabout way he’s right, but for completely opposite reasons than he thinks.

Why did you feel the need to necro this asinine thread, than?

As far as those complaining about never finding high runes, I’m betting a lot of these people would benefit from tweaking the sound settings of the game. I have most of the volumes down, except the one for item drop noises, which is all the way up. The drop noise for runes is relatively quiet, much quieter than say the “Ping!” that comes with dropping a gem.

The issue isn’t sound settings, as the orange lettering makes the runes stand out among the other labels. It’s more about farming efficiently, for example by skipping any content that isn’t very efficient. (Just to clarify, I am not among the efficient crowd, but my expectations are coherent with my clear speed.)

You’d be surprised how many times a rune drop noise has made me stop and backtrack to find a rune that I would have otherwise missed by continuing on. If you haven’t tried playing the game with the sound settings I mentioned, give it a try.

Another problem that the louder noise helps with is when you’re running a killbox build (blizz sorc) and you get huge piles of items in one spot, hearing that rune drop noise a bit louder than normal helps you determine if you need to dig through the massive pile of potions or not. Yeah the rune text coloration helps, but it doesn’t do much when the screen is overloaded with item labels.

Now if they were to prioritize item labels based on their rarity… Nevermind.

I was responding to someone else (the op) that had already necro’d it, but their post apparently got deleted so now it looks like I did it.

That makes sense…probably someone from the repeated /px offenders that collect bans like they pokemon.

nevermind, got stuff mixed up.

We were discussing about /px online implementation.

Because were literally still dealing with the same exact issue season after season and we need P/8

Its not an issue at all. Game is fine and so is droprates, we dont need P8 online besides it will again ruin the build diversity and everyone will be running the same 2-3 S tier P8 builds again. Its a huge NO from me and to all the P8 zealots out there ill say i think D3 is a better game for u

What issue are you talking about? You just said you weren’t been able to farm an Enigma in 20 years of play. You are clearly playing wrong.

There is no need for /px on Battlenet and drop rates are more than fine. It seems all your unhappiness spawns from the fact you are bad at the game.
