Issues with D2 game loading

Hi all,

I would appreciate some help.  I played my d2 game as recently as a week ago.  However when I tried to log in it kept saying that my cd key was already in use by ME.  At first I thought maybe I had got booted from the game and that my character was still on the server.  I waited several days and still had the same issue.  So I decided to delete and reinstall the game.  Now when I click on the game I get a error message saying that d2 has a compatibility issue and game won't start.  I never had it give me that error message before.   Anybody have any ideas?

Try several things:

  1. Restart computer, and try to log back in
  2. Reset router/modem, and try to log back in
  3. Wait 24-48 hours, and try to log back in
