Is there a logical reason anymore against personal loot?

All you have to do is google it and accept that nobody plays it anymore. Diablo 3 player count, and then start brewing up an excuse for why its less than 10k XD

A source relative to what?

I linked the news adticle that commented on Blizzard stating that D3 has/had 65 million players. That article links Blizzard’s statement.

So you can not provide a source to backup your number.

On 30 million copies sold. Pretty curious.

When was each statement made?

Was the 30 million copies sold statement made in 2015?

Was the 65 million total players statement made in 2022?

Good grief.

So you’re telling me D3 sold 35 million copies between 2015 and 2022? I think what theyre saying is people made multiple characters. You’re absolutely out of your mind if you think they doubled their numbers 3 years after release.

And if they did, 0.0182539683% remain.

I never said that nor did Blizzard.

What was stated in 2015 was that D3 had sold 30 million copies. In 2022, that D3 collectively has had 65 million players.

What detail Blizzard did not provide in 2022 was how many paid players.

Please stop making up numbers.*

'* or bad numbers where you refuse to link your number source

player count has it at 15,000

What is the link?
.

bud, are you in such denial that you refuse to type diablo 3 live player count into your google search? Im playing MC with my kids, even they know how to use google XD

Castlevania, in today’s debate forum you need to bring the articles, tweets, etc even if you are right or you are considered not as “well brought”

I dont have to do anything, im sure he’s already googled it and didnt get that answer he wanted. 15,984 Players Online, thats 0.0253714286% of his 65 million, 35 million more players than sales reported in 2015. Its super normal that a game doubles in size 3 years after release.

As I suspected, you are most likely quoting playercounter.com.

Now, explain to me why their technique does not accurately count the number of people playing D3 or any Blizzard game?

Also, does this site count the number of D2R players? That is rhetorical.

Bud, nobody plays it anymore XD. Its been dead for years, because it was a terrible game. D2R probably put the nail in the coffin, if it didnt D4 will.

Edit: lol i just realized that somewhere along the line the game went f2p. that 65 million is definitely and accurate representation of real people. Oh wait, Blizz doesn’t release their numbers. Wonder why XD

The concept of ploot can always be tweaked by having its ploot drop rate reduced or implementing partial ploot only.

Abuse of ploot can be addressed by making ploot drops only work within a certain radius of monster deaths.

It will bring a new breath of fresh air to a game where right now the only time people play together is for XP farming or playing with friends just for fun.

For both games, it id difficult for any of us to know precise concurrent players except when Blizzard tells us.

Fairly shortly after D2R release, tBlizzard said that they had a few hundred thousand concurrent players. This peak time corresponded to the US am and prime time in Asia.

Once D2R settled down, what I noticed and this happens in games with seasons, there was a burst of D2R popularity as evident by online public games when season 1 was fresh and then a couple months into season 1, very few. I know that many play online private or offline but the falloff was great. We shall see how season 2 compates to 1.

Personally, I have had trouble finding public games in hell difficulty in D2R. I do not have this problem for D3 at max difficulty.

Typically because they fill up too fast, need to use search. Theres a whole world of public games outside of what the lobby list shows you.

The same is true for D3. For D3, matchmaking with an occasional exception is instantaneous at T16 irrespective of doing bounties, rifts, or greater rifts.

Yeah, i dont know anything about that stuff because the game sucks lol.

I quit shortly after RoS, then came back after ancients were introduced, then quit again.

Just saw the refresh.

You have every right to dislike D3. It is a personal preference. Personally, I see strengths and weaknesses in both D2 and D3.

I suspect that I am older than you. What I have noticed is that many who are uber passionate about D2 started playing in their youth/teenage years.

This is a time that many look back fondly on their life and has other consequences such as shaping what era of music that they like.

Since I was older when D2 was released and already had a long history of playing video games (arcade, pong, atari, pc), I see D2 for its success and failures.
