New Theory Craft Shield to fill between Stormshield and Whitstans / Mosers

The Impassable Form

AEGIS (Shield)

  • 50% Chance to Cast Level 1 Psychic Hammer When Hit
  • Level 9-14 Shiver Armor When Equipped
  • +50-70% Faster Block Rate
  • +20% Increased Chance of Blocking
  • +140% Enhanced Defense
  • +100-300 Defense
  • Physical Damage Reduced by 10-12%

(High Requirement Shield Chosen with Barbarian-use in mind)
(Allows opportunity to reach max FBR with Shael Rune if rolled 66% FBR or greater)
(Provides trade off of socketing with Shael for Max FBR, Zod if Indestructible for greater defense, or Ber for up to 20% Physical Damage Reduction)

Not necessarily. The stat rolls would be the hard part.
Stormshield is an elite shield and those are common, with no variance in stat other than a small amount of defense.

Yet another mandatory pre-buff item.
Please change it to “Shiver Armor when equipped”.

Changed. It is true that it may as well be when equipped because it will just equal to many pre-buffing with it then taking it off. This way it must stay on.

Nah.
Shiver armorbis castable buff. “While equipped” for it is a new mechanic. It is not an aura.

I know, new mechanic would need be added. Which is nothing new, as Mosaic and Metamorphosis already required new mechanics.
