In-game Chat Not Working

Hi,

I failed to join or start a game where my chat would work at all. All I can see are the system messages of people joining/leaving. This also occurs for everyone that joins my games. Chat doesn’t work for me, I don’t know how is for others - when I join their games.

I have not been able to see chat since the game released and I still cant.
Im on to POE right now because it got to be too much for me.
I hope its fixed for next reset.

I Have not been able to see chats in any channels or games from any players. All i can see is the NPC chat. When out of a game and in lobby. I cannot switch from lobby to all or see any chats from anyone. I am unable to whisper to anyone. All the meanwhile everyone can see what I am saying. this has been happening for whats going on 3 days now. What is going on? and what can be done about this?

Steps takin:

  1. Checked all settings , made sure allow in game chat has its box Checked off. Confirmed it is.
  2. toggled this setting off and on. Again no fix
  3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game- no fix
  4. Checked again to make sure that box for the allow in game chat is selected. Again no fix.
  5. Changed servers from america to europe and asia. same problem in all servers.
    Can someone please help me?

It seems that Blizzard doesnt want us to chat to others in D2R

Chat does not work - only the whisper option allows you to talk. Whispering works - general chat does not work.

Changing the options does not fix the problem :skull:

LOL Guess I should have checked the forum for other post about chat being down. I guess I’m not the only one then
