The Assassin doesn’t need keys to open locked chests… I want that same feature on other classes, at the price of grinding or trading for a unique key that can open unlimited locked chests, and of course sacrificing a 1x1 inventory spot.
Maybe a mid-nightmare level drop?
It’d basically be a unique charm that grants the Assassins ability to open locked chests without a key while in the personal inventory.

“Assassins are highly adept at lock picking, allowing them to open locked chests without the need for keys used by other classes, freeing up precious space in the Assassin’s inventory for other items.”
Makes me wonder how many Assassin players have been running around with a stack of keys in their inventory not giving it a second thought on why they don’t run out of keys.
I like the idea, maybe its just a keyring that holds 50 keys and then it disappears. Then we would have an interesting item to farm for that eventually drains away, requiring a cyclical economy.
You already can open chests with unique keys. E.g. key of terror. Remove regular keys from your inventory, bring key of terror and try to open closed chest - I tried that myself - it worked in 1.12. Not sure if it still working.
