I would like to see Hell Countess at least randomize immunities… Always being cold/fire when cold/fire is now a decent build for dealing with immunities is kinda crap for such an important way to farm runes.

I agree that sometimes it’s be nice to catch a break. I think randomized immunities as found on most uniques and supers is the better way. Sometimes you win and sometimes you struggle. Struggling every time just makes you avoid areas.
thank you, I don’t mind having to reset once in a while for the challenge of dealing with immunities but don’t hard set the challenge to make a class/spec unviable.
I mean fire/cold immune only really effects what cold and fire sorc? (And fire trapper… but who even plays fire trapper?) Not a big deal TBH. Both of those can still just static her to half and let merc slap. Every other build either doesn’t care, or does enough physical damage itself to kill her ez.
Last thing we need is more Cold Sorc buffs…
I prefer the fixed immunity as it’s less frustrating to know that the merc has to kill her when I am fire/cold specced than porting there and have to find out the hard way. Nila is super annoying early on when I farm with my blizzard sorc. You Port there clear a few mobs just to see him cold immune … next game … same…
With fixed immunity you at least know which build is good there and can farm efficiently, which opens up more options early ladder and you might see something else than 8 blizzard sorc baal games
Game should simply make everything immune to your dominate skill upon creation.

I really hate LI/PI. Playing Java and LI/PIs suck hard because no help from merc. I have noticed that the poison Jav is much stronger and is a prereq, anyway. It will kill stuff if yous stay out of the way, since 2.4
There are 3 main culprit for Immunity as a widespread system for being a very crappy design

imbalanced distribution of resistance/immunity within the bestiary

also not being able to deal damage is a bad design in general

finally, pairing all of this with the synergy system that kills Hybridation and forces you to specialize
So it’s either rework the synergy system to be more general
Where skills synergize eachother not only based on their damage type but also other shared properties
So you could be a fireball build and still be able to tackle fire immunes because your ice bolt would be buffed by the fact it’s a projection like fireball
OR
JUST do away with immunities and just apply the RESISTANT system instead which is as hard if not harder but you can damage 100% of the time
