That lasted for a long time, didn’t it. Like, a whole month.
Im 48 and I’m so excited for D2R! I never got to play D2 back when it was released because of being a new mom at that time but I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about the game. Im super excited to experience the game for the first time! It’s super cool reading about the memories everyone’s been sharing about their experiences back then playing it. My first game console was Atari 2600 and my first pc a commodore 64 XD
Okay, I’ll bite. I remember BBS in my 20’s. I started with IBM Keypunch Card systems. Ran programs on the IBM 360/40. I could wire an 80/80 board.
Wrote my own games up until Commodore went the way of the Dodo. Watched the first Manned Moon launch on tv. So, yeah. I’m up there.
It will get patches, but it won’t be getting ploot, which is what you really mean.

I am 52. Stumbled on Diablo (1) at a local computer shop my last year at university…damn near didn’t graduate. Played it for too many hours. Diablo 2 for more hours than that. Hadn’t really touched it in years except for a few nostalgia minutes, just couldn’t get into 800x600 on my 2k screens. Yeah the wrapper helped a little but meh.
About 20 hours into the Beta my wife says “teleport to town or something we gotta go to the store.” So yeah.
The tennis balls on your walker are showing some age. 
That’s cool, just stop advocating for ploot in public games then if by your own admission you play alone, because the changes you demand won’t affect you, it’ll affect us, this is the crux of my argument.

You have a right to advocate against an optional loot system as others have a right to advocate for one, providing that forum members follow the forum rules. As Rod says, there is nothing wrong with discussion.
