1: Get a bunch of gold with a high lvl character.
2: Get a level 11 character.
3: Gamble daggers with the level 11 until you get one!
I scored one after spending about 500K gold.

Well if you go by the 1:2000 unique gamble rate, 1607*2000, you should average one every 3,214,000 gold gambled.
The RNG gods were good to me the other day. I had gotten two scepters off the Baal run (one set and one unique) so decided to make a Pally.
Never played one. Whatever. They don’t expire so I can play around.
Got a Gull out of a barrel on the way to Andi! WOOT! He also has 2 x Arctics which gives me +40. Rocking some low level alt MF! Oh and a +23% ammy.

Im trying it , 700k in nothing yet , but the guide does say avg 500k-1million , so im guessing i’ll get one before 3 mil spent

is gull dagger worth anything?
i vendored mine theres too many better alternatives.
They’re great.
I use it on weapon swap + Rhyme shield with my Trapsin. Just lay out a bunch of traps then weapon swap and wait for the traps to kill everything.
Full damage + all the MF benefit for free.

I got this from second char in Act1 or 2 in Normal. A mob dropped this.
Gull dagger is great and people will trade for it. 100% MF is great when you put it on weapon swap and swap to it just before you land the killing blow on a boss.

One thing not mentioned here or in the video is that in Diablo 2, once a unique item drops, it will not drop again in the same game. So if you are going for a dual Gull setup and you get your first Gull, you will want to make a new game immediately. The game doesn’t check to see if you have one in your inventory already, just whether or not one has dropped or been gambled already. Once it has, you need a new game to get another. Set items don’t follow this rule, but uniques do.

Think I burned 3 times more than the 500k and no Gull. Guess RNGesus is still mad at me for all the cursing I did when the servers kept going down…

I’ve done about 50+ Pindle/Shenk/Eld/Baal+ worldstone/Diablo+chaos /Meph+council/Tunnel/Pit/Tower runs the last couple days
I got Lem and low Ed titans to show for it on a 300 mf Necro.
But the tables will turn my friend RNG can only curse for so long!!

Gambling does work - I’ve gotten 2 unique amulets now. A saracen’s chance and a nokozan. And no, I wasn’t doing it on level 11, on my level 87 sorc.
When I do cows after I clear I’d go around picking exceptional/elite class items to sell. Once I max out my stash on gold, just go gamble at Gheeds.
LOL im at 12mil spent at level 11 still no gull. I’ll keep tryin tho, When the useless server are up again ! ><
I spent 2.3M in HC today trying with no luck, but RNGesus blessed me with an Ali Baba my very next solo NM Cows <3.
