Gull Dagger gamble trick works!

yes it’s the same trick used with Kadala in D3

Gambling does work indeed. I gambled my house and car and won a free meal voucher at Caesar’s Palace!

They wouldn’t let me live there though, unfortunately.

can you not do this at lv 2…seems like a waste of money for no explanation why. why 11. why not 10 or 8? what are we min maxing here…its a 100% mag find swap. what does 4 extra damage matter on an end game swap weapon.

maybe im missing some formula or something…

I found one in kurast😘

Make sure you’re gambling daggers, and not dirks. Gull is a dagger, so if you are gambling the lookalike “dirk” class, you’ll never get a Gull.

When gambling, the item level you can get is Clv -5 up to CLv +4. So to gamble Gull, an iLV 6 item, the optimal level to do this is 11 since you won’t receive anything lower than iLV 6 in a gamble and the lowest iLV possible for gambling is also the most common.

It has to do with item level and the formula for gambling based on clvl.

The items you get from gambling will be in a range of your character level minus 5 to plus 4.

So a level 11 character will get items of level 6 to 15.
The item level of a Gull dagger is level 6.

I have a low level character and I already found 2 of them

It is not possible to equip two of them. Nice try though.

Unless I remember incorrectly, you can dual wield them on a Barbarian.

In OG D2, you definitely could. I’ve done it before. Unless they changed something about dual wielding for barbarians (which I doubt), it should still be possible.

ya no one says anything about the lower end of the ilv range being the most common, that explains it finally, people kept talking as if it was common knowledge to new people even though its completely arbitrary. combat lv2 would be the best if ilv range was equal chance.
