becouse i used a map assistance application in D2R,
while i found it already used by others for months.
i was thougth is admitted by the game.
but im wrong.
i promise that won’t use it anymore,
but the feed back is No Chance.
i love this game , for 18 years , and never play other games.
i picked it up for this Restruction of it.

While it saddens me to see people using cheats in any game to gain an advantage over others, it takes courage to admit that you were wrong, even if you weren’t aware that it was wrong… It’s not so much important to admit it to us, but more importantly to yourself.
Let this be a lesson learned… If you hear about some cool utility for a game that everyone is using that gives you an edge, do your own research before you try it instead of blindly following what others are doing, as it can save you the headaches that can follow, as you now are experiencing.
The game can be purchased again. I believe you can request Blizzard to remove the banned copy of D2:R from your account that way you can purchase it again.

but the reply is just reconfirm of their judgment one more time.
Submit a support ticket, request to have the banned copy of D2:R removed from your account, that way you can purchase the game again.
I’m surprised at the sheer numbers of people that were using mapassist. Why was it so important for you to be able to do that? Why couldn’t you just play the game as intended, like everyone else?

I would imagine it’s a new account time + game purchase in order to play.
I don’t know what kind of time frames they put on accounts but it could be forever for that account.
This is the alternative option.

Old D2 I used it but also had 8+ accounts and didn’t mind a ban, don’t worry was decades ago. No way any reasonable gamer thought it was fine, maybe thought blizzard was too lazy, but come on, always been banned.
I do get why people use it, the sorting, the colour coding, tons of nice features, but it’s a ban.
i mean, you can, but you just cant have your cheated stuff back.

Without placing any judgment, it’s simply that there are two kinds of people. Those who respect rules and those who don’t (or in this case, didn’t read the rules, but if they really played for 18 yrs I think they knew).

banning map assist while keeping the spam bots and MF bots is absurd… i didnt even get banned for map assist and im done, blizzard sucks.
