They can’t figure out how to make the bots coordinate with each other and would have to manage inventories across multiple accounts.

As usual, trying to justify drastic unjustified changes in a visual remaster criminalizing whomever doesn’t agree.
Ah s**t, here we go again.
Leechers will demand personal loot. Learn to play the game or move on, you are not welcomed.
People have such a hard time making a difference between PLoot/short allocation and Instanced loot
Ploot isn’t more loot lol, there no advantage to bots in a Ploot system
I see you leechers in every game. You hide in corners in Throne Room, you walk after me in Cows… you dont deserve the experience you get let alone any loot.
personal loot is stupid because if you play alone you get more drops anyway. You don’t get 8 times more loot in players 8 and it would appear you get nothing at all.
Kinda hypocritical being controller support wasn’t in D2 and now it is which makes keyboard + mouse useless in p8 unless all are on keyboard/mouse. Since Blizzard made this for D2R then they need to fix the loot. And yep, I was against ploot until I heard about the insta loot button on a controller once the game launched.
xp leeching is the entire point of Baal runs and has nothing to do with ploot
By sitting in the corner you are not contributing to the kill. People risk their XP to clear the throne room while others stays in town and wait.
No the entire point of Baal runs is not leeching, it’s combined effort and everybody should do their part.
ok. we all can se you new to D2/Lod/D2R- and you have no clue what you are talking about…
soo many new people makes posts. claim they old players and they know everthing, but then they post somthing like this, and we know. YOU know northing John Snow.
Insta loot was problem way before D2r was released. It was a problem in D2 as well.
And no, the problem is not in the controller it’s in the person who pushes the buttons. Etiquette was something back in the days.
Actually quite the opposite. With personal loot all the bots can be in solo p8 and will benefit greatly from personal loot. Bots do not follow each other unless they need to in order to raise player count for leveling for others.
How would ploot even work in D2? Everyone gets loot when act boss is killed? So leechers have a chance of getting an soj from NM Andy for doing nothing while the person that does all the killing gets a town portal and a blue brandistock?
Huh? What?
That’s not fair. The drops in D2 are pretty bad to begin with. I killed Mephisto on Hell well over a hundred times on my sorc, and quite a few times on my ma’mazon. Most of it was on P5+ because I invaded games. He’s only dropped that charged essence 3 times, and the best item I got from him was a homunculus. Baal isn’t that much better, and it takes time to get to him because of the scripted event.
Are people expecting loot to get better with ploot? You know what’s awesome, having junk pop into your inventory. And what If your inventory is full? You picked up so many items and you kill the act boss. What happens next? Your ploot can’t pop into your inventory. It’s full. Does it fall to the floor? Some leecher just stole your ploot, man.
Ploot still sounds dumb.
Just like any other game, the loot that you see drop is yours. Not some stupid free for all where the person with the best 3rd party loot program or controller wins.
Yeah I would prefer personal loot nowadays tbh.
I’m getting tired of this stress inducing click fest every time a boss drops.
The worst is those players that do nothing to help kill the boss stay back at a distance and run in last second to snatch up the loot.
It’s very sad to think some scrubs only loot is what they grubby hands can snag in a public baal run
P-loot is the way of the future. There are too many advantages to having it over its disadvantages.
Sever lag, third party programs like Pickit [Diablo 2 - In town pickit - YouTube] can all ruin the experience for a lot of players.
Ya u think a lot of ppl are risking their account for a chance to snag a shako in a public baal run?
U just gotta click faster bud
Yes, I do.
you can do better then a Yt video from 2008
