well I have only done Bow Zon in Ladder, were I aim to have a Harmony bow to get me though nightmare.
I do a lot of chaos grinding in normal 
Once you get a decent NM Unique bow/crossbow or harmony bow, you can do nm pretty ez, in my experience.
