I have been trying to replicate any of these issues for the last day.
Can’t do it - not in online, not in SP.
Kind of makes it impossible to help.
I’ll keep trying, and if I can generate any of these errors, I’’’ file detailed bug reports.

this is not true, its all based on how overpopulated a server is. once it hits the limit the old engine can handle you will eventually be hit with a connection interupted, after that you’re lucky if u can still make a new game cause in most cases your character could get stuck. its been this way in d2(2000), PoD and PD2. in a way this bug has been in the game for 21 years now. only once the server population starts dying down it will stabilize itself and will be forgotten

They should roll back to beta less issues there.
beta was a lot more stable due to way less population. this is the result of having short betas that nobody are interested in, which nowadays are just treated like marketing instead of testing. it doesnt mean the issues werent there, they just didnt have a chance on occurring

There were far less players in beta. The issue is server strain.

It was also a completely different version (probably not back end, though).
MrLlamaSC and his peeps were talking about it last night.
The theory is that they had to revert to an older build for release because of some other issues that they’re still working on.
I love these threads where people screech and cry until the moment it is working fine for them then they act like they weren’t being total Karens about the entire situation. Until something about the game upsets them all over again and they come back to scream and cry all over again instead of finding a hobby they actually enjoy.
Problems happen in life, just because you spent a little bit of money on a pre-order for an online game doesn’t mean that it’ll be immune to the problems online game launches typically have.
Mass amounts of user data bring about issues all the time, there’s no amount of QA to be done to know what’s going to go wrong when hundreds of thousands of players are trying to play at the same time, but yet you people still continue to act like it’s just a simple recipe to make games and all they had to do was follow it.
It only shows a lack of critical thinking skills, a complete sense of entitlement, and pure ignorance on your part when you create threads like this. You are the reason the Karen meme will never die.

wrong, i played the beta of D2R flawless at maximun settings, this crap realeased 2 days ago is not even launching for me an another 500 k players arround the world

I’m personally not blaming your setup as the AVX issue is an example of an issue and change that happened after beta.
With that said making up BS numbers just harms your argument and makes you feel desperate
I’m just telling people to hold off until their money is better spent. I don’t see how consumers discussing things with each other to make informed choices is somehow bad.

Guess I am lucky this time around, no issues other than 1st day cant create/join game.
For those who are having issues, what platform are you playing on?
Us non AVX people can’t even run the game because we have older chipsets. We were running the beta on ultra and stoked to play and the release version won’t even launch for the thousands of users like this. So yeah, it’s a pretty crap launch for us.

No, I just thought that was a possible explanation, since I’m not having problems playing the game and neither are my friends. I’m sorry people are having problems. Maybe try switching between lobby and the play button. Sometimes it doesn’t let me created a game from the play button and when I try joining a lobby game it lets me in, then after that the play button goes back to working. I genuinely just want people to have fun.
To each his own. I’ve had zero issues and am having tons of fun.
I pre-ordered and am happy I did.
Sadly, not only this forum but pretty much every game forum is loaded with threads like this.
The level of entitlement is off the charts. I’d bet none of this crowd is vaccinated. Would fit the mo.

Im playing with almost no issues for the last 24+h, Launc day was rellay bad, but the curret state of the game is acceptably fine. Some people are having problems with temporary unavailable to play chars.
Im having lots of fun. the gameplay is really smooth. Im playing both in americas and europe region from spain and i have not noticed desyn events, none, they did an awesome job with this.
Game is great, buy it if you like to play the top1 ARPG of all time.

If you payed with a credit card there are ways to get your money back… Some credit card companies will do it very very easily!

What is wrong with a player playing one character to completion? I do that myself to focus on that character till I have them where I want them to be.
Blizz has every reason to fix all of the problems. More so since it not only damages their already soiled reputation, also VV’s reputation is involved. So I expect VV to fix the problems soon enough. After all this is a live service according to VV.
Even though Blizz owns the game VV’s reputation is at stake here as far as creating good remasters. They will not let it stand like this forever.
