If you’re on these forums trying to decide if you should buy the game. Don’t buy it.

They’re applying patches that make the game even more broken than it was before.

Ladder isn’t out yet so don’t feel like you’re missing out. Just wait. There’s so much for them to fix still.

I’m personally not wasting my time with it anymore until ladder comes out.

I want to edit this message and elaborate a bit more: I don’t think the game is a “No buy”, I just think it’s a “Buy when Ladder 1 launches” - The game is based on one of the greatest games of all time, and has only positive improvements to it. The stash system, the click transfer, etc etc etc. All great things. My intention here is to tell people to save their excitement. Save your “day one” excitement for ladder day 1. Ladder day 1 we should expect it to be the experience you were expecting on the 23rd. Bugs fixed, issues resolved, if we’re lucky even QOL edits made to the not-so-great lobby we currently have.

On THAT day? The best possible D2R experience, in my opinion. Save your vacation and excitement for that day. It will be the only ladder that isn’t overrun with bots, and it will be relatively bug-free since we’re currently in the “hash things out” period (GM confirmed this)

They already made their money from the game, now that they seen it failed they will just bail and move on. If you think ladder is gonna come, u should ask the wc3 people how that waits going.

If nothing is working for you, then it’s probably on your end. I have at least 20 friends playing now and we ALL had server issues on the first day but we are now all able to play. Once in a while someone has gotten knocked off the server, but they’re able to rejoin right away.

My online character that was there when I logged out 12 hours ago is just gone - How exactly could this be an “error” on my end?

You’re right , server issues like locked character is the player fault ! If everything is good for you and your friends then there is nothing wrong except for the thousands of player not being able to play .

This was to be expected, they even said that the reason of the ladder delay was the the day 1 problems. I didn’t play on the first 12 hours and now i’m in hell without any problems other than some random dcs, rubber banding or map overlapping, none are gamebreaking and will be fixed soon.

I even managed to play with my brother on japan! which was imposible before!

This guy is probably one of those paid scums that falsely advertise for the company.

It’s the players fault what?

Thousands of people cannot access the game soo i very much doubt all of them are the issue.

Blizzard already has your money if you think this is going to get better you’re dreaming. Probabaly a good time to start a chargeback with your bank.

People are still having issues? Must suck I guess.
I had some day 1 issues but now everything is fine since yesterday, game is great, doing Act 3 right now.

They had fixed the issues I was having. Just woke up and about to log in, hopefully it still works.

edit: looks like it’s working still for me, hopefully they get the rest of you guys fixed as well.

I’m glad I’m just created an Offline character and I’m having a blast playing it by myself. I don’t like people anyway. Just play offline.

My ONLINE Character (lvl 30) is gone, entire ONLINE stash is empty like I never logged in before. And no, I will not create a new one, I will just refund and never touch a Blizzard game again since this is the biggest meme in history

Blizzard already has your money.

No amount of complaining will get them to fix anything because it won’t make them anymore money.

Only thing you can do is get a refund.

On the plus side, there will be more people to give us way points later when we finally do get in. Maybe a quick rush to nightmare.

ye. this problem seems to be with some players. and now as u can read in launcher they are trying to fix it.

also yes. go and make refund and stop spam forums with useless infromations. because u will not play it anymore. buy.

Good idea. Instead of quitting, I think I’ll go help people through normal and nightmare.

If the initial weekend was what you cared about the most then, yes, don’t buy random forum checker.

If, instead, you’re curious whether the team made a great remake the answer is yes. Once the game’s BNet issues are fixed there really isn’t anything else to say the team messed up if you remember D2.

Wish I knew you in RL. I’d like to make a significant wager on that. We’ll have ladder by EoY (my personal guess would be by Halloween originally but with the current issues I think it’ll be in time for BFCM.)
